I can't put zero stars in for these clowns, but I certainly would if it were feasible. An issue arising out of a minimal variance (less than $.05) between their outrageous cost for a bagel and coffee and what I had available in cash resulted in my having the dip-shit behind the counter keep a full seven dollars which I handed him (which, by the way, was about $1.20 more than what I paid just 2 weeks ago.....two weeks....) and, surrendering my expectation of anything in exchange for the $7, I offered a polite suggestion that he go F*&k himself. These clowns think they can just keep changing prices and that we will keep ponying up whatever they ask. Not me, not today (or tomorrow) and I will NEVER give this place another penny!!!! Good job sh*t head!!

This location has the worst customer service. They are they don't post prices for there cakes and ice cream and I bought a coffee on 11/6 and they wanted to charge me 25 cents for whip cream. They are robbing there customers blind

I don't drink too much coffee but it's nice to know there is a Dunkin near by and walking distance from me. The best part is this is also a baskin robins! Yaaaay for ice cream! I absolutely love baskin robins ice cream cakes. Stopped here to pick up a cake for Mother's Day and it was very fresh and delicious. It was an Oreo cake. (Chocolate cake. Cookies and cream ice cream & whipped cream) The only real con to this location is they close super early. I understand why because it's located in a small town so I'm sure it isn't too too busy. There is a parking lot which is great because this is located on the main strip right at the front of the island and the only open spots are in a bus stop or across the street- the lot for sure helps! It does get very crowded because the lot is shared with a apartment complex. Overall- this is a great shop and I recommended it!

Your typical Dunkin, it's the only one that I know of at the island. I just stopped there on my way to work when I have to go to city island. Reminds me of the old school Dunkin the way it looks

DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY STAY AWAY This is the filthiest dunkin I've seen. The tables are covered in dirt and wrappers, there's flies, the workers claim they can't make lattes because they are too busy to clean the machine yet no one is in the store (not surprising) and there are literally chunks of bagels on the floors by the tables. truly disgusting also there are zero donuts and the bathrooms are out of service

Stay away! We gave them one last try but were denied service again. The sign on the door says this DD is open until 9PM on Mondays. We walked in at 7:35PM to find the ice cream all covered up and all the donuts thrown out. God only knows what would have happened if we'd tried to order a sandwich. The staff refused to serve us and said "in the autumn we close at 8". I don't know how this place stays open; whatever they're selling that keeps them in business, it isn't food.

I feel very disappointed with this DD location, it wasn't my first time stopping but it was definitely my last. It took me a bit to write a review , realizing that I don't feel comfortable coming in... i'm reviewing about last time I came , two weeks ago. Me and my friend would get coffee often, my last visit was distasteful, the short fat red hair woman was unpleasant as always. She is never smiling, never welcoming, she just wants people to leave , doesn't stir the coffee. She didn't greet us , and when she handed us our coffees it was more pushing it towards us as in here take it, also right before walking in she was on her phone texting, I feel like many of the other morning / early afternoon crew are very nice and actually take time to try and make our orders tasteful and have happy customers. Pleaseeeee save your money and go else where !!! nothing feels worse than going to a location and feel unwelcomed and like your being rushed out to leave.

Honestly just stay away. The coffee is horrible. I don't know what happens at this dunkin but it isn't good!! The workers are rude and miserable. Go to another dunkin or just a local coffee shop on city island

This branch has gotten worse and worse every month. They constantly run out of items and they constantly take stuff off the menus. Terrible.

If I could give this place NO STARS I would. I absolutely hate this DD. I live in the neighborhood and let's just say I rather get in my car and go to another DD. The staff is RUDE... the morning staff. My orders are ALWAYS wrong. If I have to tell you several times how I take my coffee and you insist on giving me a cup of milk with a splash of coffee. I'm better off going to 7-11 & making my own. I wanted to like this place. I tried giving it a chance even with its renovations. But it's been 5+ years of bad service. I wish this place would close down and either a 7-11 take its place, a grocery store or even a Starbucks. Yeah I said it. UGH!!!!!!

I've been to this DD quite a few times since I moved to the island, and I have to say they need to change the faces they have there. In the morning I guess they have a family that works together......they are to into their own conversations and really don't pay attention much. Also the manager and her daughter need to wear proper uniforms. I don't want to see people with street clothes on serving me behind the counter, and please wear some hair nets. In the evenings, even worse. The employees do not care. I saw an employee come out from the back brushing their hair!! Walked up to the counter and place the hair brush down next to the register. When I gave her my order she went to reach for donuts without any gloves on. I had to tell her that wasn't hygienic and asked to please put on some gloves. I haven't gone back after this. Hopefully I'll see some new employees and try again in the future.

I've been coming to this DD for years and the girls always make sure my order is right. If not they are quick to fix it. Super friendly and you can sense the community atmosphere. Regular customers are greeted by name. Millie is my favorite, she always gives me my coffee with a smile.

It's a shame, really, considering DD is such a popular brand in this area of New York, yet this specific franchise is a disaster. Where I lived a year ago in Stamford the DD rocked! They were speedy, friendly, and most importantly the coffee actually tasted good. Being from upstate the Canadian infusion of Tim Horton's is addictive, but I've never passed up a good cup from Dunkin when I'm in a hurry. Today was no different. I was running a touch late for work, and with the holiday so close I said to myself "no worries, just buy breakfast, you deserve the treat!" I should have brewed my own cup in the nespresso at home. Parking is a pain. While there is a lot in the back it's small, difficult to maneuver, and with the bridge construction you have no option but to park in the bus stop and hope you're in the 30 minute window that it's not at this stop. Once I got into the store, the line moved slowly. The ladies in the morning are always friendly, but they speak full, intense conversations with each other in Spanish. The Spanish isn't the primary issue. It's one thing if you have a conversation in front of customers in Spanish, but you've crossed the line when you're so infused into this conversation that you've forgotten the simplest order, possible. The cashier asked me how I wanted my coffee. I said cream and one Splenda. Loud, involved Spanish conversation ensues and what do I get? Milk and two Splendas. With little time left and patience running thin I left with the incorrect coffee, my breakfast sandwich and hashbrowns, which were quite tasty by the way. As I drove to work I took one sip of the coffee, closed it up and opted for the Maxwell House brewing at my office with a splash of coffee mate. Owners of this franchise should take note. Terrible service is the norm, crappy coffee is also the norm, and I'd rather spend the $2 more on Starbucks. Sorry, but this just isn't worth my time or money any more.
