“Love, Love, LOVE this breakfast spot. I order from here regularly. The food is always fast, fresh and budget friendly. The guy who takes phone orders affectionately refers to us as “The Donut Family” because we usually order the last donuts of the day. What’s pictured here is seasoned waffle fries and a special made burger (bacon cheddar cheeseburger on a glazed donut w/lettuce & tomato). They are open very early. They take cards and cash. The staff is super friendly. Great for delivery but not so great as a dine in spot (they do have a couple of chairs inside but it’s really too small to sit and enjoy a meal without having to move for the incoming foot traffic).“

“I had a spinach pie (spanakopita) and Greek salad here and it was very good tasting and satisfying. It's good to know if you find yourself in the South Bronx (should you dare to roam these streets) that there's decent food here. I went here twice since I had something business related to do down here. The atmosphere of the diner is the major area that needs improvement but is pleasant. Sometimes a dark, old looking, low intensity environment is good though, especially if you're feeling down as I often am.“

“I usually skip the breakfast, but today had to wake up early ish 4am so around 10.30 of course we got hungry… we been in the area and first time we try this place! Coffee really really good! The florentine omelet comes with toast and potato was amazing! Lots of spinach and feta. They made our day with this breakfast! Service fast and friendly! Price great! Meal is huge! We shared one meal . Definitely stop by again if we have things to do in the Bronx!“

“My family are big eaters and Ray’s Cafe gives you the largest portion of food for your money. Delicious very time. The workers and owner are professional and very friendly. I can’t wait to return.“

“The shakes are delicious and have their own flavor to them that makes me think of food I had as a kid. While also giving me tons of energy to spare even though I'm already energetic. But it helps with my gym workouts that I've started. Also the people are kind and social. So its never boring. They help with advice on whatever goal your going for and what they'd recommend if you don't know how to start.“

“You cannot find a better salad in this neighborhood, the vegetables are so fresh and when you order over the phone they will make sure to not add the dressing until it’s picked up so that it doesn’t get soggy. This attention to detail is what makes this place gourmet, you’ll have a hard time finding another deli serving salads like this place anywhere nearby.“
