“Okay first of all Mashallah 😍. I was born in the generation of Halalbee’s. First off, I got my order quickly! The man I spoke with had a mask on, and the restaurant was perfectly COVID compliant. The food?! AMAZING. Perfectly priced for the quality of what you’re getting. Definitely have the Double Decker with the Maple Beef Bacon! The Panko Chicken Nuggets were crispy, and fresh. The Truffle Fries were seasoned beautifully! Easily one of the most satisfying meals I’ve had in a long time. Excellent portions! I’d love to shake the owner’s hand, but that will have to wait until social distancing is behind us! I’m definitely bringing all my friends, and recommending this spot to my coworkers! No food photo cause I legit inhaled my meal!“

“The sandwiches such as the chopped cheese, lamb cheesesteak, and gyro was good. The tostones need seasoning with pink sauce, curly was well seasoning and delicious. The turkey bacon double cheeseburger was good. The pizza roll is terrible it is crap wrapped in egg roll shell. I rather get some real pizza rolls in a pizzeria than eating that garbage again. The service was okay however, when I tell the Muslim brother that rum raisin ice cream is haram because of the rum he acted all nonchalant about it. This is a halal restaurant no alcohol in all forms should not be allowed. Astaghfirullah to brother. The atmosphere was small people coming in and out there is no room to dine and enjoy the food so I glad I ordered to go.“

“Fine enough Smashburger. The food was good. We did receive reusable plastic cups for our drinks, since we ate in. Not everyone did, so that was weird. The girl who took our order was eating as she took our order, which was unexpected. She was nice enough though. There were not too many clean tables when we sat, but the same girl came to wipe them off when she had a chance. Football was on the two televisions, on a Sunday, which I guess is good for fans. Had a fine enough experience. The food is good so I would return.“

It snaps instead of biting into a pillow of heavy dough. the sauce is just right, not tart where you’ll have instant heartburn & not sweet where it tastes like some garbage out of a jar! All their food is equally delicious! The restaurant is spotless & has a rustic beautiful welcoming look. The staff & owners are respectful, friendly & attentive! “I ordered a huge order last sun and went to pick it up. The lady was so patient. She double checked and made sure I had everything before leaving. Very friendly and courteous she was. I wish I knew her name though. The food was so good also.“

After visiting this location for a few more times, I can give a more accurate review. Initial review was during the first week this place opened up.

The burger is not bad, has all the classics ingredients for a regular burger but for me too little meat. For a better meaty burger I recommend getting two patties. The single patty burgers leaves me feeling unsatisfied.

The fries from the last few times I orders has been bad. They are shoestring cut fries and it seems like they fry a bunch ahead of time and keep them to the side until needed. Some of them are hard as a pretzel and others limp.

Unfortunately the wings seem like they suffer the same fate, but with less flavor. It’s not common to get un-breaded halal wings in the Bronx (most of them are the tiny breaded ones from your local halal deli), but they are missing some marinade or something to bring it alive, besides drenching it with sauce.

The crispy chicken sandwich was very oily, and definitely double fried. Which means it was half fried before and left to the side until a customer orders one and they re-fry them. This makes the chicken rubbery and the breading dark brown and oily. I rather wait a few more minutes for a made to order chicken sandwich.

Being raised in the neighborhood, I was excited to have this place open up and wanted to make it regular place I go, to get my fix, but they have to work on some quality control before they have me be a regular. I really hope they listen to the customers concerns and revamp their process in the kitchen. I really want to see local halal businesses like this one succeed but the food has to be up to par.

The workers there are very friendly and the atmosphere is your nicely decorated burger joint.

“Good place. I've been going to them since they opened. When they first opened, they were absolutely the best place to get a burger around. After a few months, they jacked their prices, quickly followed by their quality dropping big time. I've tried them a couple of times a year since, and I'm happy to say they seem to have gone back, at least somewhat, to the way they started. The prices aren't bad again and the quality has gotten much better again. They have a couple of tables with seats in the front, a few booths next to the kitchen, and a nice little backyard dining area. Service is good, but they are a family owned and operated place, so when it gets busy, you shouldn't expect drop of a hat type service.“

“I recently visited Burning Beaks in the Bronx, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience! Their chicken sandwich is hands down one of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. “Good food cooked well or however u like it. As a business serving the general public, you have to remember that being diverse means everything. We are not going to blame it on language barriers. There are so many international restaurants in NYC that it's OK to be receptive to people spending money and of different cultural backgrounds.

Parking: It is difficult to find parking if any is available it's on the meters

“I love the fried shrimp that was new for me. I have not been here in a while. I grew up on the hamburgers. The fried clams were OK. I am not a big French fry eater but the onions rings were good.

“I’ve been ordering from Jimbo’s for years and they NEVER disappoint. It’s NYC diner food at its best. The breakfast is unmatched. I usually get eggs over easy with home fries and pancakes. I decided to order for pickup from the app and I chose to order flame broiled double whopper with no pickles and no onions with light mayo & light ketchup. I had asked the cashier what flame broiled meant and she said from the grill but it still has some oil of course. When I tell you it was the best whopper I ever had I’m not lying. The Philly cheesesteak was really good- really high quality.The mozzarella sticks were very very good- however get your own marinara sauce bc that secret sauce should stay a secret. “have been to all long island restaurants,and bronx locations. doherty enterprises is by far a great one. for some reson the hutch riv pkwy is far and above the best .think the gm s name is chris and he should be commended for training his staff. i have never had a server that wasnt excellent, always a smile and a welcome, must be due to his training or overview. bronx has slightly higher prices like app plate with samplers is 20. in long island but 25 in the bronx. in bronx everything is hot and freshly cooked in farmingville l it usually doesn t come out hot or barely warm so i d rather pay 25 in the bronx. Mgr Destiny at hutch riv pkwy always looks out for me and mom who is 97 yrs old. So i go to bronx location every time i can usually atleast once a week. in s carolina and florida i and new jersey near atlantic city was not as happy as in new york as they do not offer deals and never heard of golden app which is a discount for seniors,.. I am also a senior citizen so good prices and good food is important. I know good quality and services and let fridays know years ago that things were bad and bronx locations and long island are gone, mainly would wait 15 minutes atfridays to order a drink without ice and would get a drink with ice another 15 minutes later.
