This deli used to smell like cats you could smell it from a block away, smh. The place was filthy at one point, and the food sometimes tasted old even after it was cooked.I recently went back because it was close by, and I honestly couldn’t believe the difference. The deli was super clean, and I didn’t smell any cats at all. Whoever is cleaning and maintaining it now is doing a great job. The workers are also very sweet and respectful. I’ll definitely keep going back now.

The food here is delicious. The fritura beats any other spot. The chimi, chop cheese and cold cut sandwiches always hit. The hot food tastes like mami made it. Tres golpe, sancocho, pasteles en hoja, cosido, arroz, habichuelas, espagueti, pernil, pollo, ribs … you name it. The plantains are always hulked out. The avocados are always ready. They always have a great variety of snacks. When you walk in, it’s a respectful family environment. A staple for the community.
