My wife was born in the Bronx .Alot of her friends still live in the same area . They are all down to earth and easy going people.We decided to stop in to theHawaii chinese takeout .It's on Tremont Avenue on the right side of road. There is a bus stop in front of the Hawaii .I stayed in the car while my wife ran inside . She ordered ribs ,wonton soup , and fried wonton .Then my wife came back into the car with me . Lots of local cuisine choices either a la carte or as meals. I took the 'A' meal which had Kalua pig and salmon with rice. It was fast and fantastic. We sampled the spare ribs, luau chicken and yes some folks got poi!

The food is always hot, the delivery person is always nice, and the food is delicious. I am a big fan of flavor and their food definitely has flavor.
