Liberato Reviews
One of the Larger Dominican restaurants in the neighborhood. It has gone through changes over the years. The decor is nice but this place can get very loud. I also noticed a price increase but honestly in this day and age eating out should be a treat not a way of life. Stopped in for Dominican breakfast less the eggs.
Felt good to be back in NYC for the day. First thing I did when I got up, was go to the Boogie Down Bronx and grab me a Dominican breakfast. Which consisted of coffee with real steamed milk, mashed green plantains (mangu) m, 2 eggs over easy, toast, and some salami with the red onions on top and my my me brought me back.
I went to get my usual and learned Liberato’s is no longer here and is now under new ownership and a new name. The service was amazing but the food does not come close. The ambiance is nice. I would suggest they go find the old cooks.
