Bronx is usually a very long journey for me BUT this restaurant makes the trip worth it! I ordered the fried chicken wings along with some roast pork egg rolls. The chicken wings were extra crispy and the roast pork egg rolls were a delight. One of the best places to go in the Bronx if you are looking for a top quality meal.
The heart and soul of any restaurant, and Peking Housedefinitely shines in this department. The menu is extensive, offering a wide array of dishes from various regions of China. So I was still in search of a decent chinese food place in this area and so far this spot is making the cut. I gave their general tso's chicken a try and it wasn’t bad. It was crispy and saucey not dry and stale like other places. You could see the spices on the chunks of chicken. The pork fried rice wasn’t bad but could’ve been fried a bit longer to really bring the flavor out. The portions are pretty satisfying.
