I paid $25 for this dish with a can soda, this wasn't it for me at all, portion was very small for $25 however I don't wanna make this a bashing session, food has potential if it was made with love, yesterday that soul food had no soul
I walked in there the other day and picked up my own GrubHub order from the outside of this place I had a good feeling because it looked very homey style and then when I had the smothered pork chops I thought I died and went to heaven they were so tender they fell apart in my mouth!! ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT THERE'S NEW OWNERSHIP. THE FOOD IS NOT THE SAME. AND THE NAME HAS YET TO BE CHANGED ON GOOGLE, BUT IT DEFINITELY DOESN'T SAY SAM'S ANYMORE. THEY DIDN'T HAVE SMOTHERED PORK CHOPS SO THAT WAS A HUGE LETDOWN & I WALKED OUT. HONEST TRUTH RIGHT THERE. THEY DID GIVE THE PLACE A VERY MUCH NEEDED FACELIFT, BUT I CAN'T SPEAK ON THE FOOD AT THIS POINT IT WOULDN'T BE FAIR UNTIL I'VE TRIED IT
