Simply the best place for sandwiches around. If they don't have it you don't want it. Always crowded. They take orders by phone or email but don't count on it being ready when you arrive. Still worth it
We REGULARLY stopped here before any picnic and park days. The Beethoven was our go to sandwich, now thats hefty sandwich but man it hit the SPOT every single time. I wish we had photos because it would make your mouth water. It's busy and for good reason but the service was always good and they move the line well. We've also gotten some of the premade mac and cheese and chicken cutlets which are really good if your looking to grab something quick

Walked in at noon and was next on line. Ordered pastrami on rye with mustard and a small macaroni salad. Done in a few minutes. The pictures that I took doesn't look like the sandwiches in their advertisement for Lang delicatessen. The sandwich was on the thin side, but it was very tasty, and the mustard was put on both sides of the bread. The macaroni salad was OK also.
