It's a standard sports bar where the locals hang. Came on a Sunday afternoon and just got beers. There's no table service. You order at the bar. Water is self-served. They have pizza and garlic knots which smelled good. Decor is American vintage.
If you are looking for a bar done right, no frills, just good time, that's a great neighborhood spot. And you may consider staying longer than expected...maybe because the AC is crisp and it's hot outside. Maybe the outdoor seating gives you a beautiful view of the sunset... I was invited to American Cheez by the lovely staff that cooks the most amazing personal pizza pies you’ve tried. It is located across the street from Lore, right off of 7th avenue & 15th street.
