I was there last night for the first time to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We hung out in the backyard part, had good drinks and played Jenga and Cards Against Humanity. It was a chill, laid-back vibe. The music was good too! Will definitely be back again.
Came here for Sunday night football last week and a time was had! Delicious empanadas and my personal favorite was the watermelon mojito!! I had the chance to meet the owner Kenny and he was really a joy to talk to about what he’s trying to do for our community in bay ridge. Will most definitely be coming back.
Bay Ridge seriously needed a bar like this. The vibe is completely different from the typical spots in the area. The dirty martini with blue cheese olives was AMAZING, easily one of my favorites. Kenny was our bartender and also happens to be the owner. Since they just opened, he even took the time to give my wife and me a tour of the place, which was really cool of him. Bodega NYC is a bar in Bay Ridge with a chill, laid-back vibe that is completely different from the typical spots in the area. The space has a big backyard, a brand new kitchen, and an additional bar. Guests can play Jenga and Cards Against Humanity, and the music is good too. The bar shows Sunday night football and serves food, including delicious empanadas. The Pernil empanada is absolute fire, and the sofrito and the bodega sauce are really good. Drinks include the watermelon mojito and the dirty martini with blue cheese olives, which is AMAZING. The staff and owner are super friendly. The owner takes the time to give tours of the place since they just opened. Bodega NYC is a fantastic transformation for this old neighborhood staple, keeping the vibe and upgrading the space with a warm vibe. It is highly recommended as a regular place.
