Such a wonderful owner and customer experience. Not to mention a delicious candy apple!
The sweets and popcorn were super fresh and delicious, and the owner was delightful 10/10 would recommend. The only challenge is finding the place.
What a sweet little shop! Tucked inside an indoor mall, the space explodes with bright colors and tempting treats. I got a caramel candy apple, a container of mango candies, and a bag of zebra popcorn, which was my favorite. The owner was friendly and attentive and brought a lot of positive energy. Brooklyn State Fair is a small, unassuming shop run by a kind and enthusiastic owner who brings joy and connection to the community through sweets. The owner is helpful, friendly, and has a super fun style with amazing energy, making great conversation with every guest. The creative and delicious take on candy apples is worth the visit. Specific treats include the highly suggested cotton candy crunch candy apple, which one daughter "fell in love with" and rated 100/10, the Snickers apple, which was "insane" and shared with friends until the box was scraped clean, and the purple cotton candy apple, which was fresh and delicious. Butterfly gummies are also available. One note for guests: it is not always clear which products have peanuts. The trek in Dumbo can be a bit difficult, but customers would definitely go back again for the amazing treats and sweet service.
