Love & Dough Reviews
Cute spot in DUMBO. Would please ask the kitchen to not sub maraschino cherries for amarena (what is listed on the menu) on the sorpressata pie, they’re very different 😂. I think it would have been much better but was still not bad! Fast, friendly service on a weekday afternoon.
We were looking to eat after 10PM on a Thursday night and everything was closed. We stumbled upon this place, it was 10:30. Ordered Soppressata and Love&Dough pies and they were exceptional. The pizza was 7 out of 10 but too expensive for a personal pie but the real problem is the staff. Not friendly, young and inexperienced and Very unwelcoming.

Love & Dough is a cozy restaurant located in Dumbo, offering a lovely view of the Manhattan Bridge. The atmosphere is warm, featuring a wood-burning stove for pizza, which many guests find delicious. The restaurant has a cute, inviting vibe and is described as a little hole in the wall. The staff are friendly and accommodating, often providing complimentary treats like Nutella dough or dessert when the restaurant is less crowded.
While the pizza and dishes like rigatoni are praised for their taste and quality, some customers note that the portion sizes are small for the price. Despite a few concerns about misleading lunch specials and occasional disturbances from people seeking the restroom, the overall experience is positive. Guests appreciate the chill music and attentive service, making it a nice spot to relax after exploring nearby attractions like the Brooklyn Bridge Flea Market. Overall, Love & Dough comes highly recommended for those in the area looking for tasty food and a pleasant dining experience.
