Buttermilk Channel Reviews
Lovely place for brunch! The interior was very nicely decorated and there were great options to choose from for food. I got the chicken and waffles which was very tasty. It was light and crispy on the outside while juicy on the inside, would love to come back and try more dishes.
Super friendly staff, delicious food including some great vegetarian options, and one of the best old fashioneds around.
Vegetarian options: Delicious veggie burger, excellent salads
Kid-friendliness: Staff was very kid friendly, Halloween stickers and crayons offered
New upscale American food, came for brunch and had the chicken and waffles (love the cheddar waffles) and the scrambled eggs with spinach, mushroom, and goat cheese. We sat at the bar and service was friendly and fast! Will definitely come back!
Buttermilk Channel is a popular brunch spot known for its massive portions and friendly staff. The biscuits with jelly are a great starter, and the pancakes are delicious but generous. The menu also features a tasty Fried Chicken Sandwich that is crispy and juicy. Reservations are recommended, as walk-ins might have a wait. The staff, like Deborah, are accommodating and turn dining into a memorable experience for all ages. The bustling atmosphere can get a bit noisy when busy, but the overall dining experience is worth a visit for a variety of delicious dishes. Many visitors praise the consistent quality of food, especially the pancakes and brunch scrambles, which are considered some of the best in NYC. The ambiance inside is great, and outdoor seating offers a nice setting, though it can be chilly on brisk days. The staff is friendly, but service may sometimes be a bit lacking, such as forgetting drink orders. The restaurant is very clean, and the energy inside is lively and professional. Overall, Buttermilk Channel remains a beloved spot for its hearty meals and welcoming atmosphere.
