Located inside Idle Mind Tavern, CADET Coffee is a wonderful new addition to Greenpoint. The baristas are kind, knowledgeable, and extremely knowledgeable, offering impressive speciality coffee options. The best coffee in Greenpoint right now includes a SEY-style Aeropress pour over, excellent batch brew, and a flat white that is pretty pretty good. The drip coffee is better than a lot of pourovers. They carry great quality beans for brewing at home. The cappuccino is great, and yummy pastries include a vegan chocolate chip cookie. The service is clean, polite, and efficient. The vibe and taste bring back the Australia coffee scene, with great music and all the calm needed. It is a gem to escape from the big coffee chains.
