Great drinks, food, and hospitality. All of the elements of the menu are carefully designed and curated and the staff sure make you feel like a very welcome guest. I will keep a look out for new items on their menu to try in the future!
Tried Confidant after saying we should go for months. It was okay.
Drink menu is fine. Nothing to write home about. Lots of gin and tequila drinks. Decent wine selection. If you’re a whiskey lover, maybe order wine.

Confidant is a truly incredible restaurant with amazing food, brilliant service and unbelievable attention to detail. The menu offers creative, comfort food, with standouts including the spicy nduja rigatoni, salsa verde steak, prawn pot pie, and mushroom pasta. The duck, scallop with fruity sauce, and dry-aged steak are also notable, with the steak perfectly executed. Do not overlook the bread and butter, as it is something to remember. The atmosphere is beautiful and charming, with good vibes and cosy decor. Service is attentive without being stifling, friendly, prompt, and accommodating, though the restaurant enforces a strict policy on punctuality and full group seating. The space features exposed brick, which is a plus. The sommelier is a highlight; guests should have a chat with her, as she will surprise with her questions and selections. This spot is going to become really busy soon, and guests would return in a heartbeat when next in NYC, recommending it to others.
