This place is mid at best. Food is mediocre and extremely slow to come out. Service is awful with a bad attitude for customers yet no guts from the same staff to ask homeless people to leave. If you like rude service, waiting a long time for dime a dozen cuisine, and eating shoulder to shoulder with homeless people, you've found the right place. Oh, the coffee is not special either.
Quirky ambiance. Home cooked food. Limited service. Home cooked doughnut with a delightful french press. However, advertised as vegan but I'm getting cramps. May be back, may not. Depends if I feel like it.

Egg and cheese w/ mortadella was amazing! Love the coffee, big windows, lots of seating, just across the street from Irving Square Park. Not many GF options unfortunately, but they do have one pastry. Fairly pricey, but overall good experience.
