Golden Bay Reviews
Straight 3s across the board. We waited 10 minutes on a Monday. It was mostly a local, elderly crowd. The food was average but I found the variety was lacking. The 2 noodle dishes we ordered were pretty good, better than the dim sum. The worst was the AC was inadequate. We asked them to turn it up and they said the AC was on max. So sweating while eating is not fun.
Amazing traditional Cantonese food. Amazing seafood and various other dishes you really don't see anywhere else. I recommend getting a bigger group because it is family style and you can try more dishes the more people you got!
There's pretty good dim sum in the morning going into the afternoon but its super busy usually in the early morning so around noon would be better if you're looking for a less hectic time.

Great dim sum. Worth looking for parking.

Golden Bay is a popular restaurant that serves fresh and tasty food in a bright, open dining area with tables and chairs spread out. The spacious dining room is often filled to capacity, so it's best to arrive early to avoid waiting. While the waiters can be a bit rude, the service is generally decent, with waitstaff frequently changing dirty plates and refilling water. The food is good, featuring a great selection of dim sum, including tasty classics like shumai, spareribs, and rice rolls. On Sundays, the dim sum is particularly well-received.
For dinner, the seafood options are fresh and well-seasoned, with standout dishes like fried eggplant with egg tofu served with a delightful Thai sweet chili sauce. However, the restaurant may not be very kid-friendly, as there is only one high chair available, and the waitstaff may not be proactive, requiring customers to ask for utensils and napkins. Limited parking options are available, but overall, Golden Bay is a great spot for groups and families looking for a satisfying meal.
