Guacuco is a gem in Bed Stuy with delicious food based on sweet corn. The portions are a bit small for the price, but the tasty dishes make up for it. The ambiance is cheerful, and the staff, especially Marcy, is welcoming and energetic. The vegetarian empanada is fabulous, and the rum punch is amazing. It's a great spot for a quick lunch or a special date night. Definitely worth a visit whenever you're in the neighborhood or even worth making a trip specifically to dine here.
