Our server Andi took care of us like we were in his home—he was so kind and really made the experience amazing. There aren’t a large variety of fro-yo flavors, but they have all the solid ones here, and a large array of toppings.It is a self-serve location (and they’re covid conscious), providing you with gloves and hand sanitizer to use before serving yourself. I liked that, it made you feel as though the establishment cares about keeping covid at bay.The place is squeaky clean by the way. Everything is tidy, the machines are clean (been to some spots with dirty ones), and the area for toppings was so perfectly organized that me and my boyfriend barely wanted to touch it lol.There was one young lady at the register over-seeing everything, who gave us a friendly greeting when we came in, so that was nice.Other than that there’s not too much to say about a frozen yogurt spot, but this is definitely one of the better locations. You can tell the difference in the quality of flavor, so I highly recommend stopping by.“

While running in the park, my friend and I someone badly injured, she stayed with the injured person, while I sprinted to try and find a first aid supplies.. I ran to Uncle Louie’s like a madman (frantic and out of breath).. they didn’t hesitate or ask questions, they immediately brought out their first aid kit and gave me everything I needed.

“The tofu Bánh mì is delicious (get the jalapeños and sriracha!) and portion size is HUGE. 1/2 is basically the size of a normal full size sandwich. The green papaya salad was also bangin’ but I forgot to take a photo. The atmosphere of the place is extremely pleasant - so cozy and really a nice aesthetic. This is a different Bánh mì than any I’ve ever had before, and though it’s not quite authentic/traditional in taste or style, it’s unique and delicious anyway.“

“This has to be one of the best-named ice cream stores I have ever encountered: inviting, memorable, potent. Those adjectives apply to its ice creams, too, which come in all sorts of intriguing flavors. The consistency leans toward the icier end of the spectrum, but that is nice sometimes, refreshing. I went with fried apple pie, and I did not regret it. Intriguingly, all the ice cream was pre-scooped, which makes it easy to grab and go. I hope they expand. We need this kind of invention in more places!“

“I frequent this location often with my children because my toddler LOVES their pistachio ice cream. She convinced me to try it and it really is that good. My favorite from this store is the coffee ice cream. Hits everytime. The store is very small but always looks clean. There’s not much organization when it comes to the line so they usually just ask “who’s next”. All workers that I’ve interacted with have been pleasant. I’ve never had a negative interaction with a worker so I’d say their customer service is great.

Parking: A lot of people double park. It’s paid metered parking and spots are usually taken.“

“The takeout food made for a very memorable anniversary meal. The empanadas with their incredible pastry shells were to die for, as good as any we have had in the past in Mexico City. The salsas were exquisite. The salad was equally good and fresh. And the tacos were great with very authentic tortillas. The apricot sorbet was as advertised. The pièce de résistance chocolate cookies elicited an “oh my god” when taking a bite.“

“On Friday, an intimate and exclusive women’s group I’m part of decided to grab some ice cream after dinner. However, when we arrived, the shop was closed—even though Google listed their closing time as 10 PM.

A bit bummed, we started brainstorming backup plans when Ravo, an employee at the shop, kindly offered to let us in to purchase our ice cream. He was so helpful and patient, turning what could have been a disappointment into a sweet experience.

I ended up getting the cookies and cream, which was absolutely delicious. I also sampled the hazelnut flavor—amazingly delectable! I’ll definitely be back for it next time.

“I have been wanting to try this cash-only vegan ice cream parlor and restaurant for a while now, and it did not disappoint. Scoops offers a wide selection of entirely plant-based ice cream flavors, including pistachio, cherry vanilla, cookies and cream, strawberry, and more when I visited this week. The ice cream tasted fresh, delicious, and healthier than the processed store-bought ice creams. I will be back for more ice cream, and to try their vegan dinner options!“
