“Wow. Brand new, friendly, great business in a great neighborhood, Prospect Lefferts Garden. Would have been great if it was just good, but omg it is honestly the BEST ice cream I’ve had in Brooklyn. Awesome, creative new flavors every week. Yesterday’s was malted ice cream with chopped malted-milk balls. Also mint ice cream made with mint leaves. Another made with honey that also had some chili heat (forgot the name)—all amazing. Go now before you can’t get in.“

“Came in on a Friday at noon - the interior was welcoming and clean. I ordered the La Callejera and it was delicious! Service was quick and very nice. Portion was big for me - ended up eating half and will be eating other half for dinner. Would definitely come in again. Order total was about 21 for the torta and a Mexican coke.“

“I got the regular size cup with Coney Island custard and Cookie Monster. The custard was amazing, it had a nice taste of condensed milk that wasn’t too heavy. The gelato was also very silky. Cookie Monster was delicious too, it had a cotton candy taste and the cookies inside made for a good sort of chocolatey taste too go along with it. The only problem I really have is that the cups are too small for the portions given. The second we went outside the icecream started melting very very rapidly. It felt like a race against time to shovel each scoop into our mouth because it was dripping outside the cup onto the ground, our clothes, and making our hands sticky. I feel like the portion size was perfect, any less icecream and it was wouldn’t feel worth the eight dollars, it’s just the cup sizes.“

“This ice cream shop been open for over 40 years and featured on ABC Channel 7 news. It was on the news because Landlord REFUSES TO ANsWER THE OWNER and explain why he wants his shop closed. This store has great food, great pricing, great atmosphere and Profesional. Community is doing a great job surrounding the store and store owner with support. Now along with tuba, and drums, let's also give the landlord bag pipes, and guitars with amps to listen to as well. Lets support this store owner.“

“Came here on a cold night after my friends wanted to play board games. My friend’s house was super far away but this place was great!

There were lots of selections and we decided to play Catan and exploding kittens. I have not tried a drink but I would next time. Workers were really nice too :)“

There is no other place I have seen that sells HOMEMADE ice cream with delicious Asian flavors like taro, milk tea, green tea, sesame, red bean! The taste and texture is amazing! And the owner Song is just the sweetest person! I can literally sit there for 4 hours straight spending time talking with this wonderful women and eating all her ice cream! Lol. “This is a good "classic" milk shake. What do I mean? They put a little bit of vanilla soft serve in my chocolate milkshake. Why? Best guess, to make it taste more milky?! I don't know. “Absolutely the best ice cream I've had in Brooklyn. So far, we've tried grape nut, guava, and Irish moss. All amazing. Are the staff going to gush over you? Maybe not, but they will give you excellent homemade ice cream at a very reasonable price and in a decent size. The guava tastes like fresh guava, and the Irish moss tastes like Christmas: so good.“

“Stopped by today with my son. We arrived five minutes before it opened. Although, it was our first time here, the staff was incredibly helpful and patient as my son made his selection. Our order was ready within a few minutes. The quality and taste blew me away. I look forward to returning often!

Kid-friendliness: The staff is very kind. My son who is 9 years old wanted to order from the menu by himself. The experience exceeded my expectations.

“I really love my ice cream and I like Carvel a lot. This is the best location and every time I’m in New York. I make sure to go here because no other Carvel has the same consistency as this location not sure why winter or summer highly recommend you get a chocolate vanilla swirl on a cone“

“My family and I come here often and we've been lucky enough that most times Joshua is there. Joshua has amazing customer service. Joshua is soo welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable if you have ice cream questions. This location can get busy during the summer however, it never seems to fluster Joshua. Joshua is always cheerful, calm, and and lovely under the pressure. I've also noticed that Joshua always makes our ice cream with lots of care. I've been to other locations where that is not the case.

Recently, I came and met Bella who was there with Joshua. Bella is another great addition to the team and I'm looking forward to thr next time I see either of them.“

“I frequent this location often with my children because my toddler LOVES their pistachio ice cream. She convinced me to try it and it really is that good. My favorite from this store is the coffee ice cream. Hits everytime. The store is very small but always looks clean. There’s not much organization when it comes to the line so they usually just ask “who’s next”. All workers that I’ve interacted with have been pleasant. I’ve never had a negative interaction with a worker so I’d say their customer service is great.

Parking: A lot of people double park. It’s paid metered parking and spots are usually taken.“
