The backyard space is really nice, especially when they turn on the lights towards the evening.
The polpette and arugula salad were great starters to share; there are only two meatballs to an order, but they’re larger in size so you could split the portion if you’re a group of 3 or 4. The Diavola pizza was tasty, not too spicy. A little on the pricey side, but it’s a great spot for a group or date night.

That's what I call Perfect Pizza!
Real and healthy dough with a great combination of simple and tasty flavors. Lobster pizza was even better than I expected. And one with zucchini was spicy and full of tastes.
Service is decent.
And the atmosphere is a pure joy. Clean and cozy.

Il Leone is a restaurant in Park Slope with a great ambience that is unpretentious, mature but fam friendly, cozy, and delicious. The pizza is amazing, with a chewy, crunchy, delicious dough and fresh sauce that's sweet and salty. The ingredients are so fresh. Starters include meatballs, fried artichokes, a special appetizer of 24mo aged prosciutto di melone, arugula salad, and the Tre Pecorini cheese. Pizzas include the seasonal Asparagi with organic asparagus, fresh mozzarella, pecorino, black pepper, and lemon, and the Isola Pizza with Lobster chunks. The sauces are exceptional, flavorful, and aromatic. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, perfect for date night or catching up with friends. The staff is nice and good. The restaurant looked high end but was very loud. Overall, the food is good but not memorable for some, though others found it a fabulous place and are glad to have this spot.
