This is the restaurant! The owner is one of the kindest people I have ever met in the restaurant business. He makes you feel welcome and the staff is just as warm. The pizza is one of a kind. The light crust with real Italian ingredients makes you feel good walking out of the place. The range of pizza's makes it easy to suit everyones taste. I highly recommend!
Lovely atmosphere, great wine list and menu, good music - plus, by far the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life
I thought the pizza was really good. I brought my friend over from LA and we both enjoyed it. Our waiter was really attentive and friendly. The rest of the staff who were tending to our table seemed a but churlish.
I could probably understand the staff’s demeanor that day when a family brought in their kids and they were running around like it was a playground. Just because it’s park slope, doesn’t mean you can let your kids be wildin’ out in public...read full review

Il Leone is a restaurant in Park Slope with a great ambience that is unpretentious, mature but fam friendly, cozy, and delicious. The pizza is amazing, with a chewy, crunchy, delicious dough and fresh sauce that's sweet and salty. The ingredients are so fresh. Starters include meatballs, fried artichokes, a special appetizer of 24mo aged prosciutto di melone, arugula salad, and the Tre Pecorini cheese. Pizzas include the seasonal Asparagi with organic asparagus, fresh mozzarella, pecorino, black pepper, and lemon, and the Isola Pizza with Lobster chunks. The sauces are exceptional, flavorful, and aromatic. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, perfect for date night or catching up with friends. The staff is nice and good. The restaurant looked high end but was very loud. Overall, the food is good but not memorable for some, though others found it a fabulous place and are glad to have this spot.
