Happened upon this restaurant by sheer fate. We were just driving around looking for someplace to eat and we are so glad we found this gem. The food and drinks were amazing and the staff was outstanding!! This is my new favorite restaurant !!

Da Nonna Rosa Restaurant & Pizzeria is a true neighborhood landmark and the heart and soul of what makes the Slope great. The food is fantastic, with great pizzas including a classic NY pizza slice, a white pizza, and the thinnest plain pie. The slices never disappoint, with a wide variety and excellent quality. Other standout dishes include the chicken parm, meatballs, Cesar salad, and baked clams. The staff is nice and helpful, providing outstanding service—moving tables around mid-party and proactively bringing up small pizza boxes for leftovers. It is family friendly, with booths and tables in the back and a nice bar and room upstairs. While it can get a bit full and is pretty expensive, the food is great. Highly recommended for any party space, corporate, birthday, or celebration needs.
