OMG Hermano I love this place and cant wait to go back there yr after yr for some of the best food in Brooklyn. I stumbled into this place while the band was on tour and it been serving us food on the spot like we were famous. the Tacos are perfect with the goat cheese . Come here early and get ready to eat like a king.

I was passing through and decided to get some lunch from a random restaurant. I got the San Diego style burrito, and it was one of if not the best california burritos I've had in NYC. Not really much room for eating inside fyi.

Jalapeno King is a gem with delicious food and top-notch service. The best pastor tacos and tostadas on the block, with the best rice and beans ever. Tacos, tamales, chips/guac, and even heart-shaped tacos for Valentine’s Day are a huge hit. The staff is helpful, calling to confirm small details, and the owner is sweet, making off-menu items like a fish tostada with a smile. The food and service is always top-notch, and the menu is constantly expanding. This exceptional family-owned business is highly recommended.
