La Cabra Roastery is a Danish coffee spot with a really pretty interior that feels Scandinavian and a bit Japanese. The space is super calm, with nice music, fantastic baristas in nice uniforms, and ever changing fabulous flower arrangements. The interior is completely stunning, with gorgeous plates and cups that make the experience even better. The cardamom latte is one of the best lattes ever, though it is made with syrup and more sweet than having a strong spice flavor. The cardamom bun has actual cardamom seeds, soft and chew texture, and the pastries like the squash and straciatella pastry and cardamom pastry are great. The matcha is excellent in quality but pricey for the small dine-in cup. The Americano can be pretty acidic. There is a designated laptop area with solo seats that feel like a library, but not a ton of seating space, and it can be uncomfortable for long visits. The front sidewalk is kind of gross, always dirty and never swept.
