Maylin Garden Reviews
We ordered the 小龍包 but what we got was not really 小龍包 and more like 小包子... Not sure if that was just a miscommunication, but they don't seem to actually sell soup dumplings here. The 包子 that we got was very good though!
The noodles are delicious. The noodles are not the usual flat ones, which is special. The fish balls are average, small and meatless, and the fish ball soup is okay. The duck soup is not recommended the most. Whole duck wings and duck necks are garbage and have a fishy smell.
don’t trust the bad reviews this place is fire and food was heat

Maylin Garden is a hidden gem in Sunset Park, offering an authentic Chinese dining experience. The noodles, the specialty of the house, are delightful and unique, not the usual flat variety. While the fish balls are average, the duck soup is not recommended. However, the stewed beef over rice and seaweed soup are standout dishes, praised for their tenderness and flavor. The restaurant caters primarily to a local Chinese clientele, with limited English spoken, but the staff is kind and patient, making the experience enjoyable for all. Despite its unassuming exterior, Maylin Garden is a bustling, clean establishment that provides a delicious and affordable lunch option for those seeking a taste of China in the heart of Sunset Park.
