Based on reviews, Nate’s Detroit Pizza serves pizza with awesome, super crispy crust and fresh sauce and dough. The hot honey square is a standout, with spiciness and sweetness that balances the tomato sauce perfectly. The hot honey pizza pie tastes really good, but the pies are pretty small and kind of expensive. The cheese square has tomato sauce that is too overpoweringly sour. The Hawaiian slice is the best pineapple pizza ever. The shrimp scampi, cheese, and Hawaiian slice all tasted great. Service is very friendly, and the owner gives great vibes, once giving away free pizza to FDNY guys and being very sincere when unable to make change. The wall is decorated with great albums from the past. Parking can be somewhat tough. It is a solid good NYC pizza place, way better than the same block f&f pizzeria.
