Good place to get a quick bite or dessert pastries after dining in the food hall. The pan au chocolat & cinnamon twist (fried bread w/ sugar) was alright, could’ve been better if we got it right after it was baked/cooked though.
I love Panya. It’s a little Japanese bakery tucked away in Industry City, so while there’s limited seating inside, there’s plenty of space in the shared outdoor space. They have curry pastries, custard buns, red bean buns, crushed croissants, savory croissants, sandwiches, tea, cakes, macaroons, lattes, etc etc all of the things you can find in a typical cafe. Lovely (and quick!!) service. Can’t go wrong!
Panya Japanese Bakery is such a nice find inside Japan Village. The bakery has a great selection of Japanese-style breads, pastries, and desserts, and everything looks fresh and carefully made. I especially enjoyed the curry bread — crispy on the outside, flavorful inside, and even better when warmed up. The pastries are nicely balanced and not overly sweet, which I really appreciate.

A few items are presented uncovered, and some, like the chocolate marble bread, can be stale with little flavor. There isn't a lot of room to sit inside, but outdoor seating is available. It is generally considered good for a quick, grab-and-go treat.
