Poppy's Reviews
I’ll start with the only con, the line. It was very long and very slow. There is mitigation though, online ordering, which I will use going forward.
The food was very delicious. We tried hot chai tea, coffee cake, frittata, and biscuit sandwich. All super fresh and tasty. My favorite items were the frittata and biscuit, in that order.
It was our first visit, but definitely won’t be our last.
Wish I had your caponata recipe. It is breathtaking.

Poppy's is a charming little cafe with bright, friendly and efficient service. The cafe offers many interesting local items for purchase, both frozen and refrigerated, along with a regular food menu and fresh fruits. There is very limited seating. The menu includes seasonal pastries, danishes, and scones, with a seasonal change-up that uses fruits in season, such as the fig and cheesecake danish. The maple cardamom latte is tasty and the matcha is decent, though non-dairy milk incurs an up-charge. Some find the soups bland and are not fans of the cookies or brownies. The opening hours until 5pm are appreciated. However, visits later in the day can be lackluster, with the potential for items to be out of stock and limited decaf options. Despite some pricing concerns and menu inconsistencies, it is a cute neighborhood place worth visiting for a coffee and pastry.
