hi, my fellow foodies. I'm New York visiting, and I wanted some Spanish food so we found this restaurant on Yelp. Called Rice and Beans restaurant. The food is delicious its old-school food. Nothing spectacular. It's down to earth good eats. There's a scene in ratatouille the movie where the food credit visit the restaurant, and the chef makes a dish that was made specially for him. This is a simple small restaurant. Nothing fancy.Food is good and prices are affordable ? and the ladies at the counter are very nice ?.Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is wheelchair ♿ accessible.

I went into this place after not having been here for a few years. I just got a standard order of rice and beans, with a 1/2 chicken. No veggies or other sides. The food was as good as ever, but I couldn't believe the price, $15 dollars! This is just a small, hole in the wall type place, with everything out on a steam counter.
