This is a great space, very open, nice location. I love a good cocktail and so was somewhat disappointed when the cocktails on the menu were somewhat of a miss. For me, especially if coined as a whiskey bar, the whiskey should be the star of those drinks. It was just a bit of a miss. Good evening. I ordered two double shot margaritas. Tell me why, they charged me 4 margaritas without a heads up. The bartender made the drinks and I felt bad so I just paid anyways. I think they just assaulted my pockets just cause I’m 21. Bill was $68.10 with $5 tip. I’m just honestly shocked. NO HEADS UP!!!
We were looking for a place that was still open after 11 PM on a Sunday, and The Gibson was one of the few that was. We came with a group of five and had a great time. The draft beers were cold and fresh, everyone enjoyed their cocktails, and the service was excellent. The hours listed on Google were accurate, which was really helpful. We'd definitely come back!
