I had a very nice experience here tonight. The place was chill and quiet and reasonably priced for an NYC bar—especially in this neighborhood. Bartender John (Hjon? Jhon? Jonh?) made me a couple of yummy drinks and I was able to enjoy the warm, fresh fall air sitting in the window without crowding, noise, or interruption. Very lovely.
Cool local hangout
This is a great space, very open, nice location. I love a good cocktail and so was somewhat disappointed when the cocktails on the menu were somewhat of a miss. For me, especially if coined as a whiskey bar, the whiskey should be the star of those drinks. It was just a bit of a miss.
