I absolutely love the food here and was pleasantly surprised. I think the calamari was some of the best I've had in my life. The coating is just the right portion-- not too "bready". It was cooked just right so it's nice and crispy. The portions are really big as well so we did a lot of sharing. The shishito peppers were BOMB as well. Everything was really fresh- I thoroughly enjoyed my salad. I'll definitely come back again as I'm interested in the pastas.

Visiting Brooklyn for first time. My son recommended The Longshoreman because my husband wanted a burger and I felt like Italian. We were both pleased! The burger and fries were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. My Margherita pizza was just as it should be, chewy, lovely sauce and fragrant basil. I added the arugula watermelon salad which was so yummy with the feta cheese and light dressing. My son had the linguini and clams, which I tried and again was not disappointed....read full review

We always love going to The Longshoreman for dinner. We go regularly and sit at the bar when Andrew is working. He makes the best and most creative cocktails. The food and service are always amazing.
