Fantastic atmosphere in that it has low-key energy combined with an established neighborhood-y bar specializing in whiskey. The spirits list goes on & on. The specialty cocktails are mostly whiskey based; I recommend the white walker. Fun jukebox. Great for groups, dates, & casual meet ups. Small bites available. Lots of wood.
Solid little bar in Greenpoint. I was a fan of the outdoor seating and large open windows. I had the hazy ipa which was reasonably priced and tasty. Bartender wasn't the friendliest but maybe that's his thing. I'd go back next time I'm in the area.

This may very well be one of the best whiskey cocktail bars in America. I had three cocktails, all served by creative owner Garry Embry. All three showed off different styles, from citrus to peach to smoke. The bar is warm, inviting, and very chill. And comes with self serve water, a trend I would encourage any establishment to employ if it has the walking space. This is now a go to bar for me.
