Xia Chao Malatang offers delicious food, including a Milky soup base that is tasty, almost like a Thai curry, with a choice of three or four ingredients from a list of around 20. The spicy malatang is good, and food comes out fast with no attitude from staff. However, the space is small, so bigger groups might not fit. Delivery service has issues, with a delivery guy taking 40 minutes per street, like a snail, and asking for a tip, but the front desk handled that feedback very well.
