“Absolutely excellent dinner location for Thanksgiving. Authentic Revolutionary War Era Inn setting with phenomenal dinner menu for Thanksgiving. 4 of us came here for Thanksgiving- my wife, me and her parents, we all got something different and this place did not disappoint on anything. The chateubriand filet mignon and New Zealand rack of lamb were on point in every way. The side vegetables- the sweet potatoes, the stuffing, the arugula, the green beans, and the carrots were all perfectly cooked to an optimome composition and coloring. The popovers were a nice throwback a little dry but the strawberry butter more than made up for them. The dessert the Belgian chocolate mousse was impeccable. The overall ambiance and atmosphere of this place was very Yankee in a great way, it reminded me of Olde New England Inns and Taverns. Pricing wise it was not the most economical menu but doing Thanksgiving at home with guests wouldn’t have been cheaper. I definitely recommend anyone slightly interested in a place like this come here as they will fully enjoy. We did not reside here but if their hotel accommodations are on par with their dining accommodations, you will get what you pay for and then some.“

I can hardly wait to return! Sunday brunch is fantastic! Busy and absolutely worth the wait! I had their delicious shakshuka and an early grey tea while my friend had the hamburger and a cappuccino. Evan was always there to help from the begining of the planning and right up to the end. even when our orginal date had to be cancelled and eventually rebooked for a year later. The venue. “It is rare I have a problem with any place but something about the chicken quesadillas there the atmosphere it always feels like home. The staff is incredible they work so hard and always engaging. Lex served me today she did an incredible job as always I work all the time was very down and it felt good to know after moving back to putnam valley I still have my favorite hangouts. Carl deserves a lot of credit too I will never forget the covid shutdown how sad he was for his staff just a guy who cares. Theresa and Stephanie should run their own place one day they are that knowledgeable of the business. I hope Ashley still works there shes brilliant in life became like a sister to me thats how frequent I used to go there when I lived at home. I am writing this so corporate understands these are hard working people who go above and beyond. By the way let them choose the music as long as its not explicit so they don't have to hear the same songs all day switch it up.“

“They move quick their food is amazing always fresh always good portions they have amazing yucca bread because it sells out quick... I love this place I just wish they wouldn't sprinkle chips on my sandwich... I like chips they're just always soggy by lunchtime lol and it's literally like crumbs... Still my favorite local deli though...

Not only were they the nicest people when my husband went to pick up the food but the food was super delicious. Completely homemade and tasty and warm. When I don’t feel like cooking I know where we are going. Thank you Congers Diner!“

I thought I’d found my “favorite pizzeria” until tonight. I decided to try something new so I ordered the Grandma Pie, Garlic Knots, and my boyfriend wanted Zeppoles. First off, seeing my pizza - and the small. Omg it looked so good! I loved how it didn’t flop, it was firm and had a very nice crust. Deep dish but not too doughy. The crushed tomato’s were incredible, the sauce, everything taste absolutely amazing. The garlic knots were great! Not overly oily like practically everywhere else… It all tasted fresh, especially the tomato’s. I usually don’t like tomato’s but wow. I’m in love. My boyfriend loved the his dessert as well. It was delivered quickly, ate quickly I had to write this. I can’t wait to try some of the other foods this restaurant has to offer! Thank you so much.“
