I love this place because they have amazing African food! I have ordered from them multiple times. I highly recommend it if you want to try some good authentic African cuisine. There are not many places like this.
Update: I see the response from the owner. It was approximately 1:00 AM. It was not closed, the lights were NOT on because we left before then, and there were plenty of people still ordering drinks. But the fact that you are doubling down lets me know everything I need to know.

There was no food and the waitress just took a tip from my change! She took a dollar she didn't know that I was going to give her $2, it was the change left out of the $20 for one drink and a beer! Plus there was absolutely no were to sit!

Jambo African lounge offers authentic African food, with Cassava leaf and rice described as AMAZING, Very Flavorful and authentic, and the place is the REAL Deal. However, some visits had no food and no place to sit, with a waitress taking a tip from change. The lounge is nice and calm, though it can get active after 11/12a, with great music and clean bathrooms. Some items were out of stock, and wings were fried hard, dry, and painful to eat, with a group unable to eat them.
