LaVerdad Cafe is certainly one of my favorite spots in the city. Chef creates amazing flavor profiles, meals and deals. Burnt ends, brisket and oxtails are all amazing. Sides, soups and tacos are top notch. Support this business you will not be disappointed!

Customers recommend the burnt end tacos for lunch and pulled pork rice bowls for dinner. The smoked brisket is so tender, drenched in sauces, and smoked at perfect temp. The greens are very good, very mouth watery with a soft mild sour taste and sweet and salty after taste. The Oxtail and brisket combo is a hit, with fall of the bone Oxtail cooked just right and dippable sauce on the side. The Smoked Brisket is bang’n, and the Bourbon Mashed Yams are amazing. Staff are sweet, amazing with communication, and very on time for pickup. The food, the people, and the energy are great, giving that home eating in the kitchen with grandma feeling. Everything is absolutely out of this world good, and customers get a lot of food for the price. The hospitality and kindness make this a hidden gem where everyone feels right at home.
