“Since I became extremely lactose intolerant, eating out is always a disappointment. Not here! I could trust everything on the menu. I took a vegetarian friend and one with no food restrictions and we loved everything we ordered. Super friendly staff, great service and the food was outstanding. Mac and cheese, yes please!“

“I have to say you should be embarrassed at what you're serving at the fair. It was horrible! I was truly disappointed. We had 4 different menu items and NOT one was enjoyable. Its a shame you price gouged and the quality was beyond poor.“

“The food was phenomenal! I could eat here every day. I had the Kanak Attack and it was tender and tasty. The Asian slaw and the macaroni salad were both delicious. I had the Irish Red Ale and it was wonderful. Friendly staff and very attentive.“

“I always buy the chicken Naga burger. To me, its like the authentic student platter from The pabulum in bangladesh, which held the spiciness. Those who can handle spices, i recommend the Chicken Naga burger. If you want it even more spicy, they can make it for you to your preference.“

“I may be biased after coming to this place for the last 30 something years, but there is a special vibe at The Pub that will always feel like home when you walk in. Between the original juke box loaded with the best of my memories from the 90's, to the pool table and the well poured drinks, I will forever recommend a down and dirty pop in to Essex St. Pub. And there's purse hooks under the bar! Who doesn't love a good hook to hang your bag on while you're bellied up to the bar?“
