Absolutely the best food in Buffalo and our favorite hands down Italian restaurant with the best meatballs I ever had besides my grandma's, that I haven't had since she passed, so these are now the best I can get. The menu is great with something for everyone and whatever you're in the mood for from flatbread pizza to homemade pasta with the most amazing sauces, delicious salads, fantastic steak and the freshest Italian desserts. if you can save room. We have to get them to go home. It's so hard to decide that we get several things and go family style sharing and going around the menu. bravo Nani in the meatballs! they are a must! great friendly service and beautiful atmosphere. sometimes the acoustic music in the bar. what a gem we love walking distance to the theater district, we try to go before shows and park and enjoy the evening starting with the best meal and drinks before a show downtown. Don't think twice about trying this place! make reservations.“

“The service was top notch. From the Reservation Desk, the Maitre' D, our waiter Chris, and all the staff...just excellence in service. Food was fabulous! Cocktail and wine menu are excellent. Truly a 5 star experience! We stopped in for a one night stay at the Delavan and so happy that we chose to dine here.“

“I eat a lot of takeout. At Bailey Seafood I always have leftovers for the next day, the price is reasonable, and the quality and taste are good. I am always satisfied. I can't say the same thing when I spend a lot more money at other places only to have mediocre food or small portions. It's worth trying.“

“The serving sizes are huge plus the seafood is so perfectly cooked. The staff was so polite and kind. I highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy seafood, IMO it's the best I've had in Buffalo“

“Outstanding dinner once again at the Buffalo Chophouse! Our server, Laura, was pleasant, personable as well as professional. She took great care of us in addition to the girl who cleared our table and brought our bread. Not a beat was missed. They were attentive but not hovering. I ordered an orange chocolate martini while my husband ordered a beer. Great martini! Our appetizer, the flying shrimp, was secured with skewers to the top half of a pineapple. Beautiful presentation, with two dipping sauces, did not disappoint. Both of us ordered the tournedos entree which consisted of two 4 oz. Filets, cooked perfectly, stuffed potato, and delicious broccolini. Fabulous taste and ideal portion size. Dessert was crème brûlée for me and ice cream sundae for my husband's birthday. I can't say enough about the Buffalo Chophouse. They treat you like royalty from the valet parking until the time you leave. Looking forward to our next experience there!“

“Went there before a play for dinner at Shea's Buffalo. This place is on the Chippewa bar strip, so we were not expecting much. Walking inside, it looks like a typical party/cocktail bar, brick walls, long bar, and tables opposite the bar with plastic chairs and Formica tables, so you are sitting in the bar. At 5:30PM on restaurant week before a nearby playing of Hamilton, we were the only diner's there (and only 4 others at the bar). Now the good part.... one of the best meals I have had in a long time!!!!! Waitress/bartender was prompt, attentive and friendly. The special for restaurant week that we had was $35 for soup/salad (I had soup), Duck with asparagus, yams, sprouts and and pie for dessert. This meal was fabulous! Perfect portion and perfect flavor. The caramel/peanut butter pie was luscious! On top of all this, we were there during happy hour, so $3 a beer. I highly recommend trying this place to eat, just don't expect a cozy, intimate atmosphere. You won't be disappoints, and you won't be broke.“

“In and out spot great food and service i had the shrimp and haddock dinner with fries and hush puppies.. french fries could be better weren't crunchy and had a lot of grease. Tartar sauce was awesome and seafood cocktail sauce was fantastic. They also got seafood boil ...i had to resist but it looks amazing next time I'll have to get some.“

“This small business has a great family vibe. The food was ahmazing! the meatballs with ricotta are like no other. Their chicken, stuffed mushrooms, and roast beef were cooked and seasoned to perfection. They have a lot of seafood options, clams and scalops too. The owner and chef, Mark is out and about interacting with patrons and even plays the harmonica for you! He is very talented, he vame out to play happy birthday for someone across the restaurant and even came over to our work christmas party to play some christmas music. It is a gem of a place, if you are in kenmore and want dinner or just a glass of wine at a quiet bar or a warm friendly place, they are wonderful. I highly recommend them for dinner and small business dinner parties.“

“Absolutely amazing Chinese takeaway restaurant. I had General Tsos yesterday and it was the first time I've visited. The chicken was cooked perfectly and great flavor. Lunch specials are perfectly priced and it's great to be able to order off their wesbite. Pictured here is Boneless rib lunch and Szechuan beef lunch.“

“I didn’t just eat here—I went on a Notre Dame-style playoff run with cutlery. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was entering the tunnel at Notre Dame Stadium: the lights dim, the crowd roaring (internally), the scent of seared greatness wafting through the air like hope in October. The maître d’ didn’t greet me—he handed me a playbook. I wasn’t seated—I was lined up in I-formation. And brother, I was about to run the gauntlet.
The wine? A 2018 cabernet so smooth and confident, it could start at quarterback and run Marcus Freeman’s entire offense with one swirl. Rich, commanding, and probably able to recruit a 5-star linebacker just by breathing near him.
Then came the steak—and let me be clear: this wasn’t food, it was a statement win. It hit the table with the power of a Howard Cross III sack and the elegance of Sam Hartman dropping dimes in a snowstorm. Medium rare, seasoned like it studied film, and so tender it canceled my dentist appointment. This steak didn’t just melt in my mouth—it called audibles and walked into the end zone. Joe Alt would’ve protected it with his life.
The risotto? Creamier than a freshman walk-on’s dreams. Smooth, rich, and disciplined—Al Golden would put this risotto on third down. The oysters? Briny, bold, and faster than Xavier Watts breaking on a slant route. I swear one of them whispered “Go Irish” as I ate it.
Then came the carrots—and I need you to hear me when I say this: these carrots were Heisman-caliber. Roasted to divine sweetness, glazed like they were prepping for the NFL Combine. These were Drayk Bowen in vegetable form: intense, built different, possibly sentient.
By dessert, I was a puddle. The waiter brought me a warm towel and simply said, “Marcus Freeman believes in you.” And in that moment, I did too.“
