“Spent the first weekend in October, going to different wineries around Seneca Lake on both the east side and west side. This one was by far one of the best. The atmosphere is great, the service wonderful! The wine samplings were perfect, and the food was the best that we had at any Vineyard. We got the wings, which were probably some of the best I have ever had anywhere, olive appetizer and their chicken sandwich with potato wedges. Everything was cooked perfectly! And so so tasty!

“This is the first winery I had ever gone to. We were staying in Watkins Glenn and wanted to try one of the many wineries in the area. We happened to pick this one because it was fairly close. What luck! It turns out Hazlitt is one of the larger wine producers in the area and the makers of a super famous line of wines called Red Cat. The tasting room was a great experience. The person who led the tasting was very friendly and informative. We liked most of the wines and ended up buying a number of bottles to take along. I highly recommend this winery if you are in the Seneca Lake area. If you aren't from New York, make sure you buy LOTs of bottles before you leave because this wine is almost impossible to find in other states. I had to order some on-line to replenish my stock!“

Some reviews complain about service, but I think people come in with unrealistic expectations— this isn’t fine dining, it’s a small local café with amazing food and down to earth people. So I packed the family and headed out to prisebox. we got there and the owner handed my daughter the pad of paper to take orders and had her right it down and the prices and then add the total up. This is fantastic in my eyes and the whole crew of people are always so friendly and caring. I love going and eating there when we can. “Came here for dinner and some brews! Highly recommend the Oktoberfest this time of year! It was delicious! We also got the crab dip appetizer that was so absolutely delicious (would highly recommend!) We also got burgers and they were delightful too! We went on a Wednesday night and the place was packed! There was one server and one bartender and they held the place down like champions! We were very impressed with the atmosphere and establishment itself but even more impressed with the wait staff! Highly recommend eating/drinking here!“

“My husband and I had a lovely lunch at Glenora on a sunny, fall afternoon! Wonderful, friendly service and the food was unexpectedly delicious! It was cool, but we chose to sit on the deck to take in the incredible view. The staff was accommodating when we asked to start one of the patio heaters for us. We started with two glasses of sparkling - one blanc de blanc and one brut. We enjoyed both, they were very well-balanced. We then ordered the Squash Pumpkin soup and the Chicken Pot Pie. The soup was hearty, well-seasoned, and full of fall flavors. The pot pie came in a crock and was topped with a flaky, buttery crust, reminiscent of a french croissant. The pot pie filling was perfectly seasoned and had large pieces of chicken and potato (all tasted home-made - no can of cream of chicken soup in here!) The crock sat on a serving board and had a salad alongside - beautiful presentation! Overall, our experience was top-notch and can’t wait to go back and try more menu items!“

“We stopped in yesterday and had a nice bottle of wine. Assistant Wine Maker Rhett Seeley stopped by to chat. Never met him before, but he was passing by and we asked him for some recommendations. He was extremely helpful and friendly. We ended up buying the wines he recommended as well as some beautiful garlic, a bag of coffee and some wine glasses! They are known for their dry reds and they did not disappoint. I highly recommend adding Hector Wine Company to your list of stops along the wine trail.“

“Their food is good, service is fast, and it’s pretty cheap! The cheese pizza and buffalo chicken pizza were both flavorful and good sized slices. They had two almost full cases of pizzas and calzones to choose slices from and we were served right away. Three slices and a drink came out to $14. The only minor complaint is that it’s a little too greasy, but nothing out of the ordinary for chain pizza.“

Absolutely went above and beyond. Food was delicious and the service was fabulous. Everyone was still raving about it the next day! Would recommend this place to anyone looking to hold a similar event. Not ridiculously overpriced like most places once the word “wedding” is used.
