“So, I was temporarily working next door this past week; I’m based in Brooklyn and my commute time by train + bus to Cambria Heights is 1.5-2 hours.

On my first day, my Google Maps search for “vegan” food options in the area yielded absolutely *zero* results. I didn’t really have much time to venture out, so I was sadly forced to live off crappy snack/junk food until I got home that night. Fast forward to day two: I was able to take a leisurely walk at lunch, and on my way back into work, I made a last second impulse decision to check out the juice and supplement store next door.

Turns out “more” means plant-based grocery store!!! Trinity Juices & More is an unexpected vegan HAVEN. Sooo many goodies, including some of my faves (like Field Roast’s egg, cheese, + sausage breakfast sandwich — perfect for a workday morning). So many fresh, healthier options, too, plus even lots of non-food items (e.g., body lotions and scrubs). I was really impressed by the selection. Trinity kept me full and happy all week long at work, and while so far away from home.

My hope is that now, with this review, when someone searches “vegan” in Google/Google Maps, Trinity Juices comes up in their results. :)“

“There used to be a restaurant in this exact spot called “HOT POT” . Hot Pot was literally by the far the most disgusting Jamaican food I’ve ever had in my life and I mean everything was nasty no matter what you tried so I’m not too sure if this store now is under the same management or it’s a completely different owner but the food is so much better than Hot Pot is and I’ve had different food from this place and everything has been good CONSISTENTLY. It’s fairly new and I hope that the quality never changes but as of right now ? I would definitely recommend this place to anybody . The Chef at Irie be doing their thing and it’s underrated right now maybe because of the bad experience from the previous Jamaican spot that used to be in the same exact spot but I promise you guys that it’s not the same quality as Hot Pot was and you won’t be disappointed ? and the customer service was good no attitudes like the typical Jamaican spots“

Kevin was incredible - I walked in and he greeted me with a bright smile and helped me make selections for myself and my partner as far as smoothies and he customized them accordingly to our taste and diet. “The recent change of ownership has been a welcomed positive for this establishment. Bagelville is spacious, and there's always room to sit down and read the paper with your bagel and a coffee; that is if you're old school like that. The main reason for my review is the service component of the equation. Oftentimes, Bagel spots can be understaffed and chaotic. People crammed in, long lines, and lackluster experience. My guys at Bagelville want to make sure you get what you came for, and leave with a smile. I recently brought both of my children with me, and it was refreshing the way they interacted with the staff. Overall, if you're in the area, give them a shot. You won't be disappointed. “Took two trips here on the same day to sample something for brunch and for lunch. For starters, the place is pretty big despite how the place looks from the entrance. The people working behind the counter were pretty cool, service was on point. For breakfast I had the Nutella Custard Croffle and a can of Celsius. The croffle was delightful for sure, pleasing to the taste buds though one small complaint...I don't think croffles are a good base for any sandwich because it was messy eating that, the croffle was kinda all over the place eating it.

Came back here for lunch after a few hours in the gym to order a Mocha Haze Power Smoothie and a Smoked Turkey Croffle. Croffle sandwiches here are delicious as a whole but they are very unstable and can leave a mess so as a note, ALWAYS ask for extra napkins. The smoothie was very good and filling too. I could see myself coming around here a couple more times, trying out as much of their expansive menu as I possibly could.“

“This was the place I had my first açaí bowl, and I loved it. I am addicted now and come here pretty often. The fruit is fresh in every season, and the staff here are very lovely. For the people that have never been to this place or haven’t even tried an açaí bowl and want to, I definitely recommend coming here. 😊“

“I cannot say enough good things about Brain Food Palace in Long Island! I recently ordered their fruit and veggie platters for our work lunch, and they were absolutely stunning. The presentation was next-level from the vibrant mix of fresh greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and shredded carrots, to the meticulously arranged fruits like strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, grapes, oranges, and cantaloupe. They even added a carved pineapple center that made the platter look like a piece of art!

“Ay!!! Those birria quesadillas are super 🔥🔥🔥! This was the best food I've ever eaten from here so far, with a mangonada. Great customer service, received the food pretty quick. I waited maaaybe 8-10 min. I brought the food home to eat and it was still hot. FLAVORS were insanely delicious. This was my first experience having birria anything. Let me tell you it was worth every penny. The cosūme(Cheff's Kiss). Cilantro, onions, everything was delicious. The lemon slices boosted the flavors as well. OMG(Pause). After we got off the phone I guess he went to the back just to to double check and realized he had a little extra left and went out of his way to scoop out whatever was left in the back to give to me. “This place is a gem in the rough. Food is so fresh and consistently good. I prefer to walk in and pick up the $10 tray and fill it up with whatever I like. The guy lifts the tray tops so you can serve yourself. I start with the rice and the rest is a surprise everyday. On my way out, I pick up a fresh melon or watermelon juice out front separately for $3. No place nearby can compete.“
