“Placed a big order and it was ready in 20 mins. The pork chop rice was done beautifully and it really showed much love was put into the dish. The Pho was amazing. With just the right amount of trimming already plated in the takeout. Iced coffee was potent - the first sip gave me quite a jolt. Great place. Friendly staff. Definitely will come back!!!“

“I had a small situation and left kind of upset thinking it would not get resolved. I get a call from the owner himself and he personally made sure that he fixed the situation and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy and to me that's the most important and meaningful way to treat your customers! I love their drinks especially the fat fighter! I've been going there for years and will continue to go. People might say it's a bit expensive but your paying for quality and efficiency! I definitely recommend this place!“
“Popped in for a smoothie at the recommendation of Steve from the neighboring Twins Barber Shop. I didn't have my usual evening coffee & snack so wanted a smoothie to tide me over until dinner a couple of hours later. I opted for the Choco Mocho shake and it was served in a tall Styrofoam cup. I didn't see options for sizes and this XL size was around $7 if I remember correctly. They put a lot of good stuff into the shake but be warned that it wasn't very sweet. That was okay by me as it was a healthier option than many places that make similar smoothies. It hit the spot and I was able to hold off until dinner. Along with several shake & smoothie options, they also offer acai bowls. My shake wasn't necessarily cheap, but they give you a lot and the quality was good. I'd not hesitate to come back again.“
“I called the restaurant today on my daughter’s birthday (2/26/24) to ask for a table for 5 people including two children. I was told there’s not enough seating for everyone but they would gladly accommodate us at the event space next door. I agreed. My family arrived at around 6 and the two ladies took our order and Yvonne took a few minutes to prepare the table for us. When she led us into the room we were so delighted and astounded! The place was so beautifully decorated, and she managed it in a very short time! All the food was delicious! She made my daughter feel so special, she danced with the girls and helped cut the cake! I was very lucky and blessed to have been given this wonderful memory! It was such a pleasure to meet Yvonne, she is so sweet and has such a good heart! If you’re like me where your household has a little bit of everything going on, this is your spot for breakfast, brunch or lunch! They are a vegetarian diner with an extensive menu so lots of good eats to choose from that are not salty or oily and well seasoned ?We had fresh carrot juice made to order, the pancake special with plant based bacon, eggs, home fries, sour dough toast, fresh fruit and avocado. Magnificent! They also have vegan desserts like apple crumb pie, frosted cookie crunch and so much more. The service was wonderful and we felt right at home. There is also a lovely gift shop right next door that has some unique knick knacks. Tell ‘em Avery sent you?Downside is parking is sparse so Uber or subway if you can. “My absolute favorite coffee shop!! I am in the hard bean at least twice a week and I have had nothing but great experiences! The coffee is consistently good, and the food items are always fresh. The service is outstanding and the staff is always kind and attentive. I typically bring my laptop and stay for a while to get some work done, and this is a great place to do so. The WiFi is great and the atmosphere is always very calm. I love that when I go I am supporting a local family business that is hardworking and dedicated to what they do. I also got the punch card and my 8th coffee was free! Great touch for frequent flyers in the Merrick area. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some good coffee in Nassau county!“

I had the jerk chicken bowl, tuna wrap and to top it off, a green leaf juice. Each item was very well portioned and made with fresh ingredients. “I cannot say enough good things about Fitrition meals. I have tried every meal prep company in the area and absolutely nothing compares to these! The portion of protein, carb and vegetable in each meal is the perfect amount. I am always satisfied and never left hungry! (which is what would always happen to me with other meal preps) The quality and presentation of the food is also top-tier. What I love about this specific company is the variety of meals from different cultures. These meals are not your typical chicken, broccoli and rice. They also have a great selection of low calorie and higher calorie meals which is extremely helpful depending on your diet goals. My favorite meals are The Daniel, Coconut Basil Shrimp and Lomo Saltado. I always look forward to picking up my weekly meals every Monday! Fitrition meals are a must-try!“
