Acai Bowls near New Hyde Park, NY

“In Nov of 2022, I had the most AMAZING gluten-free bagels I’ve ever tasted! At first, I was afraid they had given me regular bagels! They’re THAT good! I live in Kentucky and have been DREAMING of those bagels ever since I ate the last one!“

“last year my youngest son brought me here. .my first not his apparently. I loved it! “Acai Bowls are bomb! 😍🤤🤤🤤“

“One of the best places to get a bite to eat and get a coffee! They have açaí bowls, Korean corn dogs, and more! Such an amazing place and did I mention it’s KOSHER!!!!“

“Bowls are really good and all that but why is there always only 1 person working. Currently there are 8 customers including me waiting and there’s only this one poor employee ( another customer just walked in ) working everything. AND she also has online orders to fulfill. Not fair for this employee. Do better Hewlett Sobol“

“Great little spot for a quick lunch. I had the lunch special. Included a green refresher juice and a tuna wrap which were both delicious for under $20.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is very low key and cozy, soft reggae music in the background for a relaxing lunch. There is some bar seating by the window and a few small tables for 2-3 people. Would definitely come back.“

“Baya bar is truly the best place I have ever had açaí bowls from ! Everything there is amazing ! I don’t have 1 complaint about there ! My daughter used to go somewhere else & then I brought her to baya bar & that’s the only place she will go now“

“Great place to hang out, eat and drink healthier. The staff are amazing, very kind, really trying to do their best to make the food yummy. Love their acai bowls!“

“soooooo delish! came here on a weekday evening and the girls servicing were so nice! i got a pitaya x green base w/ almond butter (which is so flippin’ good).

definitely on the pricier end, but you pay for the quality and amount; this bowl was beautifully layered and packed!“

“Food and service here is impeccable. Fresh ingredients, artisanal snacks, and healthy options! We stay at the hospital often and so happy with this healthy option in the neighborhood. The ambiance is super adorable too-- perfect place to catch up with friends.“

“i feel sooo happy just walking in to that place, with the warmest and most professional atmosphere, and then i get completely happy after getting my food and juices...😋😋😋 recommend 1000000% out of 100“

“Love this place. Best acai base around. Their granola is amazing too! I got pitaya and coconut base this time and it was terrific. The juices look great and they even have different Avocado Toast. My daughter loves the chocolate banana protein shake. Check it out!“

“ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Service was incredible i walked in while the store had a good amount of people, i saw 2 employees and thought id never get my order. As i order this kind young man helps me decide what bowl i want (he was very generous btw), you can fully optimize yours for your liking. After i finished paying, it was mostly just me there waiting for my food so the young boy says theyll have it out in a couple minutes so a check my phone and then boom order in my face (mind you they were making a lot of orders). I forsure thought it was premade and left out or something but when i tried it it was soooo good the nutella was still gooey and warm while the base was still frozen and refreshing and all the fruits were so fresh! I wish i took a picture cus the presentation was everything but i couldnt help but eat it :( . Nonetheless, Service was amazing, the young boy was really sweet and had a nice white smile, the tall young boy made my bowl with love, and overall my experience was one of the best in all of my fast food experiences. They are such hard workers. PLAYABOWLS I WILL BE BACK!!“

“Very nice team here, good vibes and multiple different kinds of vegetarian/vegan options. We had lunch at almost 2:30pm and the food was fresh. There were probably 5-10 people eating, this is clearly a popular spot.

updating my review because I posted before I had actually tried the food. It's really good. I got the chicken gyro pita and my wife got the vegan Impossible burger. My gyro tasted really good and healthy. Not overly oily and had the right amount of salt.

I didn't take any photos because I ate it too quickly!“

“I love Playa Bowls! Even though I’m closer to the Oceanside location, I make the drive to Merrick because the Team is fantastic!! Teresa, Eli, Adriana, Jaelyn and Quinn deserve to be recognized for their outstanding performance!!

Let’s face it - spending $20 for a fruit bowl is considered a luxury in these times, so it helps to have wonderful people taking care of you and making you feel that more special🩷💚“

“This place is incredible! I visit every day for my healthy meals and drinks. Omar, the owner and the ladies are not only kind but also extremely knowledgeable when it comes to healthy beverages and meals. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to improve their nutrition and to look more fit.
😊💪🏻“

“Organic krush is amazing and filled with a ton of healthy fresh options. The food is delicious and the there is a large selection. The smoothies and pressed juices are 🔥. The staff is super friendly and the manager is the best. They are all very professional and helpful. This is a great addition to Rockville Centre.“

“I had to leave a review after my last visit a few days ago because it was honestly the best experience I’ve ever had at Sobol. A girl named Alexis made my bowl, and it was hands down the best bowl I’ve ever gotten from here. Everything was made perfectly.

On top of that, Alexis had such amazing customer service. She was so friendly, patient, and genuinely sweet, which made the whole experience even better. You can really tell she cares about what she’s doing and about the customers.

I’ll definitely be coming back again, and I truly hope she’s there next time. Alexis made my day — Sobol is lucky to have someone like her!“

“Very small but cozy place.Brazilian coffee was great, as well as peanut sweetness and a sandwich at Brazilian styleDefinitely recommend that if you are in the area. Pretty close to LIRR station. “Great açaí bowls I add mango and almond butter“

“A huge shout out to this location, and specifically Omar. When I asked for an ingredient list and I was pointed to the wall, it wasn’t enough information for me to determine if I was able to eat the yogurt. Omar inquired why I wasn’t eating, and went out of his way to go into the back and get the boxes with all the list of ingredients. Above and beyond service and the pistachio was amazing.“

“I love the açaí bowls! Nice clean place! Love the fact that everything is organic!“

“I accidentally discovered SoBol while I was walking around, but I’m very glad I did. I got a kids size coconut smoothie bowl (I wasn’t sure if i’d like it) with some nutella, and it was delicious. I also got a spirulina smoothie and it was so good that I’ve visited SoBol twice more to satisfy my cravings! My brother got a Chocolate Cacao smoothie, and he absolutely loved it, he finished it in approximately 5 minutes. He would recommend it for kids or for adults with a sweet tooth!“

“I had to host a last-minute event and originally called a different location that wasn't helpful at all. Thankfully, I reached out here, and one of the girls was absolutely amazing. She handled my small catering order flawlessly and ensured my clients had their SoBol without any delays. Thank you so much for saving my event!“

“Love everything about this place! Shoutout Romaine who was very kind and welcoming! This was my first time trying this place. Atmosphere and music is a vibe. Vegan options. I had the Philly cheese and it was great. The Coolie smoothie was sooo good! Will definitely be a repeat costumer!“

“I went to this sobol for the first time just passing by and I had a really good experience the girl attending me I believe her name was Allison was very sweet and very greeting she explained everything with the best attitude, and they have a lot to offer on the menu, def a good place to good if you have a sweet tooth.“

“My second time here, I loved the açaí bowl the first time, overpriced but make sense , it’s delicious and fresh ingredients, so it’s worthy, however the experience I had this morning with the lady in the front was horrible, 0 professional and tbh I wouldn’t go back to be treated like that. But oh boy, the coconut bowl it’s so good.“

“Could not have been happier to find this place while on a trip to NY. Options for clean eating are limited when you're traveling so this was a welcomed surprise - especially for those in my party who have food allergies. The food was absolutely delicious. I got the Greek Platter and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The sauce was SO fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Love it here great bagels“

“AMAZING AÇAÍ BOWLS, great service :)“

“I've been a lot since I've lived here in the past 4 years. I've tried at least half of their menu. It's pretty good honestly. It's a little pricier than other spots in comparison, but so far I've had no complaints with the quality. Also service has been nice and straight forward too. My biggest issue is their hours. They don't always seem to open on time (10am) like they say they will. Their start time seems to be too late already with Planet Fitness right next door. I can't be the only morning workout person who would want a smoothie at least by 8:30-9am. It seems counterintuitive to business. Anyway, that's just a side thought on the way to the point that they are worth going to.“

“I I love this place. Great customer service they’re always on point. They’ve been in the community for over a decade and continue to get better and better. I love the new menu and the kiosk I can order from.. I’m loving a new pistachio smoothie!!!!!“

“This place used to be my favorite açaí joint. My family and I would always go here. But recently (not sure why) they got rid of their kosher certification. It’s really a bummer. We were constant customers and losing a place like this was a bit annoying. We have the kosher playa bowls also in merrick but it’s just not as good. I love sobol don’t get me wrong but if they could just bring back the kosher certification it would be really appreciated.“

“I honestly generally prefer to meal prep myself than feel I'm spending the extra money but had a busy work schedule today so it was easy to pick up a quick meal. The Olympian is a basic chicken, rice and veggie meal but I was shockingly impressed by how well it was prepped and how good it tasted for what it is- So much so I felt like I had to write this review! Thanks for my lunch!“

“Great staff. It’s very interactive because there’s a white board anyone can right on and the tables have games like tic tac toe and connect four. It is really nice and I recommend going with friends. Also look out for deals. Never got something there and didnt like it. Everything there is a hit.

Dietary restrictions: Offer nut free and dairy free and vegan options.

Parking: It’s in a shopping center so tons of parking with many people going out and in.

Kid-friendliness: Have lots of food portion sizes and games!“

“Very good Thank so mush i LOVE Red Mango“
