“We've been there a handful of times since it reopened. It's basically brand new and really clean. The beer is really cold, and a decent selection on tap and in bottles. The bartenders have been great. There's pool and darts, and we've see live music too. Give it a try!“

“We didn't have any food while we were here, we came for one purpose only.... Drinks!! Haha we had a blast here. We came in apparently while they were slow but it made it so much more fun. We met Monica who was working behind the bar and she made sure we had the best night. We kept it simple by only having some ciders and draft labatts blue lights while topping it off with a TON of shots of Red Stag. We will gladly come back here to enjoy another fun night and hopefully order some food. The atmosphere was great but of course it was mostly just us and Monica's mom. Next time we will kick it up a notch.“

“Love a good dive bar. This has a great crowd and ambiance. The vibe was perfect. Music loud but not too loud. The wings are good. Probably Top 5 in Syracuse but definitely not #1. Would love to go back here. Love the fact that the one thing updated here is the TVs. Great spot to watch a game.“

“When time permits, I love this 'greasy spoon' for a delicious burger and fries. Wait time is very reasonable, burgers are juicy and tasty staff is friendly and hospitable. I'm not a 'regular' patron, but my parents are, and most of the staff know me as 'Sheri's daughter'. When Mom passed away last month, there were 10 of us who popped in for some much needed comfort food and drinks. Tommys took good care of my family when we needed it the most. “Sharkey's always has good music and their atmosphere in the summer is warm and welcoming. They have summer leagues for volleyball and kickball that I enjoy doing and my parents love Bike Nights on Thursdays. The food is good and the staff is very friendly. The owner usually is around and he is very nice and customer oriented.“

“Went here based on good reviews,as soon as I walked in the door everyone at the bar(all guys) looked at me like they wanted to kill me!! I knew i would have gotten in a fight if I spent more than 5 minutes in there. I normally love mixing it up with drunken rednecks. I wasn't sure who I'd be fighting but I had a pretty good idea how many I'd be fighting ..........so I left! Some other time,boys!!“

“Okay, it's been a day or two since my first review and I've got to say that my opinion of the Village Tavern has improved. It's one hell of a local bar that is more than its appearance. A great place to meet your friends and enjoy life and the have so much on the their calendar. I have no issues with recommending The Village Tavern & I'll keep coming back. Oh, I almost forgot...the wings are spot on and the service rocks.“
