“Great drinks (they always taste fresh), great employees (they’re always kind and always make my orders perfectly well, and I come here VERY often). However, more staff definitely needs to be hired. Some afternoons there is only one person making the drinks, and I end up having to wait 20-30 minutes. This is NOT the employee’s fault, they can clearly be seen working as fast as humanly possible. Having two people per shift (especially afternoons and nights) is definitely necessary.”

I also like spicy food in general and this one offers both flavors and spice. The host lady was nice, humble and attentive. The prices are more reflective of fine dining and portions do justice. They had bbq tables but we didn't try that both times. All in all the best Chinese restaurant in Suffolk county. Some of their dishes like veg lomein needs improvement.”

“I have to share an incredible story with you.. It’s long so please hang in there. One of my children had their tonsils out last Wednesday. I’m sure when this happens as a child it must be horrible, I know growing up so many of my friends had their tonsils out, but I was completely unprepared for how healing would be for my child who is an adult. The recovery has been so much more than any of us anticipated. For their recovery I was asked if I would bring up Blue Hawaii ice from Ralph’s. Off to the store we went, purchased a few half gallons and brought it on the trip with us as we met up with our child the day of surgery. 24 hours after surgery my baby was a mess, the pain was horrible, and the only thing helping was blue Hawaii ice from Ralph’s! I called the store and asked if there was a way to ship the ice to my child. The gentleman on the phone, who I now know as the owner of both the Selden Ralph’s and the Farmingville Locations immediately started to explain to me how we may be able to make that work. The next morning, after my child had already gone through a half gallon, I realized I had to try. When I called that day Pat took charge, not only did he do the research for what I needed, he got it all together for me. He even went so far as to tell me that if he couldn’t figure it out he would be willing to drive the 2.5-3 hours to bring it to them. (Let me add in my other child who is on the island with me was just diagnosed with a concussion, and needed me home so I was unable to be with my child who was recovering from surgery 😭) Pat went to UPS for me and picked up the right size box and the packaging I needed. Then he went on to get dry ice to make sure Blue Hawaii would survive the trip. While the local dry ice place wasn’t so kind, he then drove to Bay Shore to another reliable source who helped. (This was now taking up a ton of this mans time, a decision he made to help me to help my child feel better at no additional charge or perks for him. Without his help I would have never been able to figure this out or get it out that day) He packed the order and I had a friend meet up with him who would then take it to UPS for me to ship it out. So off the ice went on its journey. And it arrived 100% prefect to my child the next day. Yesterday I finally had the chance to meet the man who cared enough to go above and beyond for my family. He didn’t have to do this, there was nothing in it for him, he even gave her extra ice, and I honestly believe he would have taken the drive himself. I went back in to purchase yet another gallon and a half for my child who has not spoken since the surgery but when I FaceTimed them from his store yesterday they did so to thank this wonderful man blue tongue and all 😂. As I am now sitting on the ferry reflecting I needed to share this story with all of you. I am a big believer in being there for one another and what a random act of kindness can do and the impact it can have. This man could have just left it, he could have told me how to do it, and I could have attempted to stumble through while caring for my other child recovering at home yet he went the extra mile for my family. We already were huge fans of Ralph’s but they will now be our one and only stop. I hope if you have never given them a shot you will <3 and my child’s suggestion of course is try Blue Hawaii! I can’t wait to bring her more ice today!”

“Benkert’s is our go-to for everything bakery related. We’ve never had anything we didn’t love from them. We got our wedding cake from them and it’s truly the most beautiful cake I’ve ever seen, and I’m still getting compliments on how it looked and tasted weeks later. When we were ordering they were very flexible with flavors and gave us plenty of options, they didn’t say no to anything we wanted, everything was possible. You can tell they really care about what they do. You are in good hands with Benkert’s.”

I decided to use them because we had gone there for dinner a few times and loved the meatballs and other dishes (chicken bruschetta for one) and their homemade dipping sauce for their bread. I could be happy with the dipping sauce and bread alone, delicious! We will definitely use them again to cater. They delivered and were right on time.”

Breakfast here? Straight legendary, nephew. Golden, crunchy, seasoned like somebody auntie out back blessin’ every potato by hand. Ain’t no weak eats here, this a full belly guarantee.

Lunchtime? They still flexin’ on fools. Hot heroes drippin’ wit’ cheese, cold cuts stacked fat like shoebox money, wraps packed tight like a blunt, bread fresh on every move. You unwrap one, and it screamin’ “we feedin’ family, not rationin’ scraps.” That’s love in every bite, homie.

And peep the staff—real cool, real quick, always show respect. Call yo’ order in, and it’s hot an’ steamin’ when you pull up. Walk in, they greet you like kinfolk, treat you like you been down since day one. That hometown energy, nephew, that what make it stick.

Caterin’? They kings at that hustle too. Six-foot heroes runnin’ long as a limo, pasta trays stacked sky-high, salads crisp, whole table look like a banquet. Birthdays, game days, block parties—they keep the squad fed right, portions fat, prices fair, everybody leavin’ satisfied.
