“Chef Jeff is the best for service and pleasing a crowd with his delicious BBQ! We hired Catering by Chef Jeff for a corporate event on Sunday, and everything was seamless. Ordering was breeze - Jeff is very responsive, thoughtful, and organized. Jeff responded to our inquiry, set the menu and then sent us a link to pay all in the same day. Communication was on point at every step. Delivery was on time, the order was correct, and everything was packaged to travel to our site. The FOOD is phenomenal, and exceeded expectations. Everyone ate until overstuffed. We ordered extra and everyone happily took home piles of delicious leftovers. Chef Jeff is our new go-to for events.”

“We were visiting my brother in Cicero and he brought us here! The food is amazing. The wings are huge and the pizza is delicious. We do have one complaint though! It says on the menu that if the cooks did a great job, buy them a round of beers for $8. My daughter bought the round of beers and requested a pic to be texted to her from the waitress that she never received! 😉. So, Miss waitress! If you’re reading this, she’s still waiting on that pic! 😆”

“I got married on 9/13/2025 at 916 Riverside and it was one of the best wedding related decisions my husband and I made. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception on site and it was absolutely beautiful from start to finish. The ceremony was held outdoors on their patio, and our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how visually stunning it was. We primarily communicated with Jake, the owner, and Brooke, one of the head staff. They were both incredibly helpful and responded immediately whenever we reached out. Anytime I suggested something or asked if it was possible to do X, Y, or Z - Jake accepted with open arms and supported all of our ideas to make our big day personable and meaningful. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, but doing so via Jake and Brooke made it as painless as possible, and that is something I am very grateful for. Staff paid attention to small details and ensured that everything got done in the way we envisioned and requested. At the end of our reception, Jake’s staff cleaned up quickly and packed all decorations and center pieces onto two designated tables, which made it that much easier for my husband and I to pick up and pack up everything the day after. Everything went smoothly from start to finish and there’s truly nothing I can critique. 916 Riverside will always be special to us, and I would recommend them in a heartbeat for any couples who are hunting for a venue. “I am usually a regular here most of the employees are great, very friendly. But lately the last few times I’ve been here this one girl that works here is obnoxiously rude for no reason. Like she’s bothered to do her job?? She wears glasses and a nose piercing. Other than that this place is great and clean with awesome food!”

“Really good food. Shrimp and mushrooms was so good in brown sauce. Orange beef was delicious. Steam dumpling are soft and chewy. Good food and very nice people, food came out fast too. Adding to good places to stop.”
