“This place is amazing! We had 25 people coming from an Army game and called to see if they could take us all in an hour- they said yes and we are so glad they did! Servers Michael and Justin were incredible! We walked in, tables were set, water glasses filled and menus ready. They handled separate bills with ease, drink orders, soups, appetizers, meals and desserts with amazing customer service- and the food was a home run!! True comfort food with a flare! The Schwing burgers & Mac/cheese, deviled egg appetizers and skillet cookie were just a few of our favs! The list of beers on tap was long and something for everyone's tastebuds for sure! We will all be back!!“

“We stopped in on our way to the arts center and we’re blown away! The vibe was great, and so was the food….. what stole the show though; our waitress Barbara! It was honestly so nice to see her work and do her thing with the customers. She was so attentive to us and really was so kind. “Their service and atmosphere is unique to the Monroe & Hudson Valley NY area as you don’t get the personalized attention anywhere else. I see a lot of posts asking where the best French Onion Soup, and/or wings are in Monroe and the surrounding areas, I tried them all - Bourbon has the best!!“

“If you’re looking for a great hole in the wall, old school, bar and grill, this is the place to go. The bartenders are friendly. The food is fantastic. The owner always has a smile and the people that hang out there are just the salt of the Earth.Also, the bar menu is great! Everything on it is yummy and highly recommended.Parking: The parking lot is easily accessible. Also, in the winter they always make sure the snow is cleared before they open. Never have any problem parking here except for maybe when it’s crowded.Wheelchair accessibility: The side door is wheelchair accessible.“

“A really cool " hole in the wall!" Always an honest, no judgement, all welcome and included in whatever creative stupid fun someone always comes up with!! 21 to 80/90 age range and they all rock. Good old fun, no thought of " needing " to impress- everyone is impressive Cuz all can relax, be real and laugh. A sadly dying American institution, we're all about keeping it going as hard it's hard to find a bunch of genuine good hearted people- friends, strangers, huge variety- that hang distress, catch a buzz, have a blast.....and always make sure all get home safe. “Good Ole country place atmosp. I've eaten here at least five times in past year. If you're going on a Friday and want the prime rib You have to Reserve The rib At least a day in advance So they know how many to cook. Very good. Perfectly COOKED. The chicken sandwich was stellar. French onion soup was great! Appetizers- trifecto bland; onion rings-big n crispy, good ; BUT my once favorite potato skins were tiny, shriveled, and dry w a bit of cheddar on top.Oh, be careful of the floor in front of the ladies room, it's sunken in.“
