Weird place. Not friendly at all. Prices very high for a cold sandwiches. Coffee isn't great either. Salmon toast with cheep quality of salmon. I guess they are doing better with the bakery but it is also expensive.
Wine-tasting buddy, Marji, and I often grab a sandwich and head up to Furnace Brook Winery to enjoy sipping and sitting (either in their screened gazebo overlooking the orchard or in front of their huge stone fireplace). We FINALLY hit a day when Ben's was open, as we'd been wanting to try it but not hitting its open days (Thursday - Sunday, catering to the weekend City crowd). Total shame. Place was great when it was open to the public. The owners refuse to open post pandemic - only offering pre ordered food to be picked up on Saturdays. The community deserves an establishment in this location that is open to the public and people visiting town.
