“Taco Tuesday is real real tasty , I love the pork and the shrimp tacos. the burgers are delicious , they cook them just the way you like them , onion rings yum yum , Thursdays is prime rib night … cooked to perfection, different sides to choose from , I always get the baked potatoe and the salad it comes with … is real good also , ya gotta try it. Oh I forgot Greg is a great bartender.“

“Finally got to Hook & Reel!! Great vibe, great food! We sat at the bar and enjoyed Danielle’s company. Rob, was an incredible insight to the short history of this restaurant and is wonderful. We chatted about the history of this type of venue in Middletown and how to survive. He gets it. While chatting, his head was on a swivel, watching his guests and crew. Rob spoke so highly about his crew, you would think they were family. I am so glad I went and enjoyed the family atmosphere. Well done team!!“

“Just had my best friend’s bachelorette weekend dinner here and it was phenomenal!! “We have come to really love this place. The dishes are very good especially the Nona's chicken. Could use more variety in desserts but everything on the menu that we have tried was thoroughly enjoyed. Great, friendly but professional service. Nice atmosphere.“

“Last night, for my birthday, we had what I have to call a perfect, and perfectly delicious meal. You can’t take a picture of an experience, but if there were a way, we would have tried. My fettuccine Bolognese was a detailed joy, yielding a world of varied delights in every bite. Even the radicchio and endive salad… one of those textured, flavorful events where you close your eyes and savor every each mouthful. I could go on and on… but I’m still busy savoring. Gorgeous setting, roomy comfort, delightful servers and employees… and the bank does not break. You’d pay 100 or 150% more in the city to even come close.“

My wife called late last night and left a message about needing to add a slice of fish to our order for early morning delivery.
To my delight, our order was delivered at 9:27 AM, just as we requested! We always have great experiences here, and I truly appreciate the effort. Highly recommend this place for fresh fish and outstanding customer service!“

“Best home fries I had in a very long time. It’s sad I don’t live close by. Otherwise I’d have breakfast here all the time. Food was very delicious, I didn’t know even take a picture. But I can I assure you, my plate left my table squeaky clean!“

“Its a great late night dinner spot. Food is really good! They DO NOT skimp out on the portion they give you, you will definitely have enough to share or eat for the next day. the place is clean, staff are nice and the menu is simple. Some places have a mixture of like, 25,000 options of food. This place keeps it simple. You go in, pick what you want and you're out. There's no loud music at the times I went.“

“Brother Bruno’s is our go-to spot. The team is always super friendly and makes us feel right at home every time we visit. The pizza is absolutely delicious—honestly, it’s the closest thing to NYC pizza upstate. But outside of the amazing pizza, the rest of the menu is fantastic too. Their sandwiches and wraps are better than diner food! Don't miss out on this place. 🍕🥪“
