“Delicious! And ready for pickup on my way home. As you can see from the photo, the portions are appealing and generous. Everything was piping hot and well seasoned. All my favorite comfort flavors in one place, ready in less than 20 minutes. What more could I ask for??“
“Last night my family came to Jade Palace for dinner. It was a great experience. We ordered Peking Duck and steamed fish and other plates.Everything cooked was excellent. I previously worked near NYC Chinatown and this food in taste and preparation was identical. Not overloaded with salt and great flavor. This restaurant was truly a great dining experience. Also the bathrooms were immaculate.“
“Okay, I just finished eating my food 5 minutes ago and immediately ran over to write this review! Let's start with Michelle and Chef put some respect on his name, Marcus! They are both so kind and full of love. I felt like I was visiting my family. They answered all my questions and got me excited for the food. I was able to watch them make everything and wow, wow, wow! I could watch them make magic all day! I felt like I was watching a cooking show. Are there any producers out there? Get them a show asap! The FOOD! Wow, so many fresh vegetables, flavors were on point, and every bite was filled with love! Stop reading and go now! I live an hour away and yep it was worth the drive. Drive, ride the train...do whatever you need to do to experience this amazing place! I can't wait to go back! ? Much love to Michelle and Chef put some respect on his name Marcus!“
“Our experience was pleasant. The food was delicious and presented exceptionally. Appetizers and main dishes were served hot and great presentation. Drinks were perfect as well as the dessert choices. Dessert, coffee and after meal drinks just added to the whole meal and dining experience. Definitely will recommend and return soon.“
“I have visited this restaurant twice. That is a positive sign by itself. Sotanos is located on Main Street in Fishkill, NY. The area is easy to get to as it it right off of I 84 and Route 9, a major thoroughfare. There is ample parking in the back of this white, quaint, vintage house turned into an eatery. That's a good thing because at peak hours, there is no Street parking to be found. You will be greated immediately upon arrival and seated in one of the dining areas to the left OR at the small bar to your right. We ordered fried calamari and shrimp ? wrapped in bacon ? as appetizers. A universal truth is that bacon makes everything taste better! Both were tasty and devoured so fast that I forgot to take pretty, unmolested pictures of them. You will notice immediately that the portions here are adequate, so you do not feel robbed, but unless you had gastro surgery, there will not be a lot of take out boxes clogging up your refrigerator You get JUST enough with lots of sauce to trick the ? eyes into thinking ? the plates ? are loaded. The main courses ordered were a fillet mignon with scallops and a "crispy" duck that was not crispy at all. Reportedly, the duck was delicious, but the crispy description was on the menu. The steak was a good grade, tender, and prepared to my liking. The scallops were some of the best ? that I ever had. As you can see in the picture, you don't get many of them. Gelato as a desert is my recommendation. The service was excellent. I like the non rushed eating experience on well spaced tables on beautiful, 100 year old broad plank floors. The bathroom was clean. I can see a pretty good wait for this room if the place is crowded. If memory serves me, it is a single use bathroom. It's a VERY nice place to go for a delicious meal, perhaps for a special occasion. I would and will absolutely visit again unless I can find a comparable restaurant with slightly larger portions for the price. Sotanos is a wonderful experience although not a great value. Your mileage may vary. Enjoy!Parking: May spots in the rearKid-friendliness: Kristen was informative and attentive.“
“Their service was fantastic. The servers were welcoming and patient.Had their all you can eat. The servers checked up on us frequently and encouraged us to try different items. They even offered us multiple choices of icecream even though we were so full. The food was made to order, fresh, hot, and delicious. The restaurant was clean and beautiful. Loved it there.“
“Best new store in the Hudson Valley! Their fish is super fresh, super tasty. I’m addicted to making poke bowls since I’ve had their sushi-grade tuna. Unbelievably good! I also appreciate that I can preorder bread from Balthazar, which is a treat!“
“Very clean atmosphere with a nice ambiance and beautiful interior. The wait staff was friendly, prompt, and pleasant. The food was delicious and the drinks were great. A new favorite place for me and my family. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great Mexican food.“
“Brothers is one of our favorites, has been for 24+ years. Food is always excellent, the wait staff and guys in the kitchen are always, always so friendly and greet you with a smile. All dishes are flavorful, the atmosphere is old world charm and it's close to home for us.“
“Milestone birthday choice for dinner. Did notdi$$apoint.Dietary restrictions: Read the menu before you go. The dishes do not lend to modification. As always inform the venue of any serious food allergies, call ahead.Parking: Direct parking and lot across the street. Handicapped parking directly in front. Newburgh has also seen fit to install meters now! Grrr.Kid-friendliness: This is NOT a venue for small children! This is a high-end restaurant. If your children are not well seasoned to dining out, it's not an option. There is nothing on the menu, nor should you spend that much money on something the child may not like. Nor is this venue appropriate for a child to play loud games on his cell phone and scream loudly at random.Wheelchair accessibility: Meets ADA compliance standards.“
“Hands down, one of my very favorite places to eat. Food is always prepared fresh, attractively plated and plentiful. Their cheese pizza is the best in the area! The staff is welcoming, friendly and attentive; the atmosphere cozy and relaxed. Definitely worth a trip!Wheelchair accessibility: The parking area near the front entrance is small & fills quickly. I believe there is a handicapped parking space but no access isle next to it. There are additional spaces on the side of the building and around back. I've always been able to park my lift equipped van on the side of the building and get out of it without a problem. The entrance has a vestibule and getting through 2 sets of doors using a wheelchair is challenging. Once inside, there is ample space and bathrooms are accessible.“
“Hands down one of the BEST restaurants I’ve stepped foot into. From the ambiance, to the music. The food was TOP notch. I was fortunate enough to meet the owners Mr & Mrs. Maisonet. Very personable & made the whole experience great for my family and I. If you’re ever in the area and want some great food & with great company. Stop on in & tell them Matt sent you!“
“I had to try this place due to all the great things I heard about the food. And I tell you it did not disappoint. The service was good. The staff was very kind. The food was on point. I will be visiting again. The menu is a lot bigger than it shows here. I let them know that they have to update their menu. So go check them out.“
“My mother and I came to fill a prescription at the Rite Aid and decided that we wanted lunch. We decided that maybe trying somewhere new would be good! We found this place, and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and setting. We were seated quickly and served chips and salsa as a snack before the meal. The chips and salsa were great! But the main dazzler was the tacos. My mother and I both had the salmon tacos. 3 come in an order, and I must say, they knocked it out of the park with the flavor of the salmon. The sauce that had a lil kick to it and the sauce it was served with on the side was also quite tasty. The service was great and the food excellent! Highly recommend!“
“Delivery order was all freshly made and exceptional in quality. Portions are large and satisfying. I got the tagliatelle and added shrimp and it was excellent. Also got spaghetti and meatballs and I like the way they not only bake the meatballs but must sautee them as they had a nice crust and were huge and delicious. I will be ordering again.Vegetarian options: Pizza, pasta, salads.“
“Our favorite place to dine In Newburgh. Great selection of oysters. The tuna melt sandwich and hamburger were also cooked to perfection. We’ll be back soon. The staff is always very attentive and friendly. And of course seating outside next to the river makes everything taste even better.“
“Every time I asked my friends for a good place to get seafood in Orange County NY I kept being referred to Tasty Crab House. My husband and I one evening randomly decided to go check it out and all o have to say is that we are so happy that we did. The prices were fair and the toast and quality of the food was excellent. We ate so much food and still had enough to take home. (Women’s bathroom stalls were not tidy).Wheelchair accessibility: The entire restaurant appears to be accessible (including restrooms).“
“Stopped in Friday night for dinner for two and had a really nice and relaxing evening with my wife. Paul, our server, was kind, funny and knowledgable and asked Sean, the bartender, for wines to pair with our filets, and his recommendations didn’t disappoint! Will certainly be back over the Summer to enjoy the outside patio!“
“Really enjoyed this spot. Nestled in an unassuming strip mall, this really cute Italian seafood restaurant really delivered on quality and quantity. Went out as a multigenerational family of 6 with a kid, and everyone found something to eat. The beer battered cod special was exceptional and bountiful, the broccoli linguine with garlic & olive oil was delicious and voluminous, and the broiled salmon and cod were exceptional. Moz sticks didn't disappoint either. Coming back here for sure.“
