“I just cant imagine giving this place a negative review. My wife and I travel quite a bit and dine at many upscale restaurants and we consider La Piccolina very comparable. I guess even at the best restaurants it is possible to have a sub-par experience but coming here several times a month gives us a unique perspective. The owner Sandy is no-nonsense but is wonderful and her husband Carlos is an incredible chef. Would highly recommend dining here.“
“Onion soup, clams casino, chicken parm, crabby bucatini, crispy lobster bucatini, ny strip, lamb chops,lobster Mac and cheese, and Zuppa de Pesce. Clams casino and lobster Mac and cheese were a little weak, but everything else was excellent including Ali our waitress. Would definitely recommend and go back.“
“Whenever boating on Candlewood Lake with friends we always stop at this classic restaurant on the lake. Service is attentive, food is good, plenty of choice for fish lovers and non fish eaters. “I moved to New Fairfield 1 minute away from Zegarellis. The very first time I went there they had HUGE gourmet slices of pizza In the display case and amazing desserts as well. They have one of the most authentic NY style pizzas I’ve had. Big Mac pizza is incredible as well as lasagna, chicken Marsala, chicken bacon ranch, carbonara pizza, etc. the rest of the menu is spot on. We eat there 1-2 a week lol can’t seem to get enough!! A hidden gem of a restaurant on Fairfield Drive, you will not be disappointed if you go.“
